The Pumphouse at Lands End

A luxury hideaway on the banks of the Kariega River. The Pumphouse which was once used to house irrigation pumps many decades ago, now transformed into a space where luxury and nature meet. This romantic, self catering unit sleeps 2 in a king size bed. On arrival you can enjoy complimentary fresh homemade Roosterbrood while sitting in the wood-fired jacuzzi watching the wildlife roam across the river. Paddle in your canoe down the Kariega River and soak in the magnificent bird and wild life.

Ed's Place

Ed's Place is a charming, self-contained cottage with three en-suite bedrooms each having a king-size bed. The living area includes a comfortable TV lounge area, a large dining room table and a well equipped kitchen. The tasteful furnishings give a feel of rustic farmhouse comfort. The quaint, thatched cottage, perched on a high ridge in the Kaba Game Farm, commands a uniquely spectacular view over rolling grasslands, coastal forest, the vast Alexandria dune field and the ocean beyond.

A 2 min walk to the Kariega River, slipway & lagoon. 5 mins stroll to the Kariega Blue Flag Beach, or to the village centre. Complete privacy in your own kitchen garden, and access to a large, treed, semi-private garden that is for your exclusive use. A gate and fence separates you from my garden. Ideal weekend getaway/longer stay for digital nomads, couples, solo adventurers, small families (double sleeper couch for 2 children), or simply peace & quiet to finish writing that book!

Bushmans River Roost Cottage

In a 2 hectare garden of the River Roost B&B property we offer a self-catering cottage by the Bushmans River. With 2 en-suite bedrooms and a living area with a pull-out sofa the cottage can accommodate 6 guests. Open your sliding doors and fully experience the African nature that surrounds you while you enjoy the views of the river and the ocean. Down by the river there is a private jetty if you would like to moor your boat or fish. You could also try pottery. We give lessons.

Natures Cottage with its breathtaking views is situated on the waters edge of the Bushmans River in an echo estate called Natures Landing. The cottage is totally private and fully secure. From the deck and bedroom you have unsurpassed views of the river as confirmed by numerous reviews. Impala, rooi hartebees, bush buck and nyala freely roam the estate. Over 200 bird species have been identified in the estate. The facility offers a full range of DSTV channels and unlimited Wifi.

Relaxing family holiday house!

This is a great holiday house for families or friends looking for a beach getaway. The house is a short walk to the river and ocean, with a great beach for swimming. The children will love playing in the river, bring a canoe along and have a paddle! The house has everything you need but it is not fancy. Rustic and relaxing! We live in Port Elizabeth and just love slipping away to Boknes for weekend stays! We are not on site, but will be available to you via telephone.

Alistair House - Homely and close to the sea!

Alistair House is almost on the beach! No driving needed to get to the beach. This is ideal for families that wants to relax on the beach. Long walks are possible with a interesting hiking trail. Boat cruises are a must with a visit to many game reserves. Addo Elephant Park is also in the area.. Boknes and Kenton-on-sea have great beaches too. Alistair House even caters for the babies in the family. Come rest your souls in this homely house close to the sea.

Stand alone, self-catering cottage for two in a quiet area, short stroll to the beach/lagoon, shops and restaurants. Off street parking, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi (Fibre connection) and smart tv. Inverter and water tanks to assist with load shedding. Our housekeeper is available at an additional cost per day. Please do not hire strangers for security reasons. Please note no daily service or laundry facilities.
