Bushmans River Roost Cottage

In a 2 hectare garden of the River Roost B&B property we offer a self-catering cottage by the Bushmans River. With 2 en-suite bedrooms and a living area with a pull-out sofa the cottage can accommodate 6 guests. Open your sliding doors and fully experience the African nature that surrounds you while you enjoy the views of the river and the ocean. Down by the river there is a private jetty if you would like to moor your boat or fish. You could also try pottery. We give lessons.

From the deck and bedroom you have unsurpassed views of the river as confirmed by numerous reviews. Impala, rooi hartebees, bush buck and nyala freely roam the estate. Over 200 bird species have been identified in the estate. The facility offers a full range of DSTV channels and unlimited Wifi.

Alistair House is almost on the beach! No driving needed to get to the beach. This is ideal for families that wants to relax on the beach. Long walks are possible with a interesting hiking trail. Boat cruises are a must with a visit to many game reserves. Addo Elephant Park is also in the area.. Boknes and Kenton-on-sea have great beaches too. Alistair House even caters for the babies in the family. Come rest your souls in this homely house close to the sea.
