This place was spacious & beautiful! The outside area & dock was perfect for all of us! The kitchen was stocked w/ many plates, pots & pans. Would definitely come back !!

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

Candice's place on Black lake is great. Very quiet but close to both Perth and Westport if you need to go shopping or want to go out for a meal. You are a few steps away from the lake so ice fishing/fishing was easy and convenient. The place itself has everything you need and is nicely laid out. The rocking chairs in the middle of the cottage look out onto the lake through the huge windows and is a great place to just sit and relax. I expected the wifi to not be the greatest since this is cottage country but it was fast and more reliable than my wifi at home. Overall, a great place and my wife, daughter and I had a great mini vacation to start March break.

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

This beautifully appointed home was a perfect getaway. The peaceful lake with no cottages on the far side was clean and great for boating or swimming right off the dock. We enjoyed loons, herons, owls and a bunny. We hiked at Gould lake, swam, fished from the rowboat, had a campfire and watched stars from zero gravity chairs with no light pollution. A wonderful stay! We absolutely loved staying here with my family, my parents and my brother, it was so spacious and the best stocked Air BNB I’ve ever stayed at in terms of kitchen utensils and activities to do. We used the sauna, jumping into the still freezing lake to cool off, the hot tub and got out onto the water using the kayaks and canoe. There were life jackets in assorted sizes, water guns for the kids. The space is amazing for entertaining, visiting from abroad, we used our stay to host and catch up with aunts and uncles and cousins I haven’t seen in many many years and everyone enjoyed the day so much. Our kids made great memories as their first time being “up north”. Would absolutely stay again the next time we visit Canada.

The place is amazing overlooking at beautiful lake and Brandon was honest and proactive about a last minute water situation at the property. He refunded us the whole amount for the inconvenience even when we stayed at the property. Plus he arranged several water jugs and disposable utensils free of cost. We will definitely love to stay at the property again.

Such a lovely location and beautifully decorated apartment. Enjoyed everything about it from sitting out on the deck watching birds, boats etc to firepits in the evening and walking to the local Tikki Bar for food, beverage and socializing. We found the people in this area to be the friendliest we've come across in our travels. Oh yes and the bed is heaven.

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

A great find! A hidden gem. Felt right at home. Kitchen had the bare necessities but totally worked. We like to cook so we brought our grill. The convertible couch worked out great for our daughter when she came to stay. The towels were fluffy. The shower was fabulous. The bed was super comfortable. The water was super hot and had great pressure. Loved the dock so close by. Threw a line in and had some fun. Super close to Clayton and other towns. Great space! Great host! Would love to come back soon.

Excellent place! Beautiful setting, cozy, quiet and very clean with spectacular views. Perfect location for waterfront walking, downtown shopping and dining. We definitely Italy will be back.

Angel's place was the perfect home base for exploring Calabogie. The airbnb matched the description perfectly and I felt right at home. Angel had even gone out of her way to loan me a vest because she knew that I would be hiking during hunting season - such a thoughtful touch!

We absolutely loved our stay. Rebecca was kind, helpful and just a great person! Her place felt like an escape, on an island between 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇦. The dock was just lovely. Will definitely be planning another stay

My family had a wonderful stay at Tracey’s cottage. It is a beautiful open space, very clean, and has an amazing view of the lake. It is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Tracey was extremely helpful and communicative. Check in and out was very smooth and easy.

There were a total of 5 families (9 adults and 2 kids ages 2.5 years and 1 year). We enjoyed the side by side cottages and that allowed for some separation of families with and without kids. Cottages were quite clean and modern with good amenities. It was a very quiet neighborhood. There were watercrafts available for an additional (very reasonable) fee and we really enjoyed being on the water. We had easy access to the water. There were fire pits and hot tub, which we did not use. You’ll have to take the garbage out to the dump on your way out and there are pre-paid garbage tags. The process was easy and straightforward. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We recommend the Lost Penny Pub in Westport for a drink and food. Thank you so much to Blake and Lizzie!

The property was beautiful and offered great gathering places for our family and wonderful cottages to spend some quiet time. The lake is pretty quiet and offered nice boating/kayaking and shallows that were perfect swimming for our kids. The cottages were outfitted with everything you need and were thoughtfully organized and designed. Mark and Angie were awesome, friendly, and helpful. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. We hope to return next summer!

Stayed in early spring. Lots of books, games, movies to entertain. Internet was fast and reliable. Wood stove kept the cottage cozy. To cold to swim etc. Parents with small children be aware the path to the lake is steep with no railing. Overall loved the stay. Planning another in the fall.

Amazing 3-day stay! Perfect, peaceful view with a quiet environment. The lake is beautiful with clean water. The house is in great condition and well-equipped - we enjoyed cooking there. The owners are very nice. Everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend!
