Traveling with a group of nine family members, we needed a place that could accommodate a range of ages ( the youngest was 5 and oldest 73). Elin's place was absolutely perfect. Incredibly comfortable, clean, well designed and in a great location to explore the Golden Circle and beyond. She left us coffee ( and incredible find after a long journey), the perfect hot tub and a garage filled with fun activities for the kids, alongside a beautiful yard and back deck. There was nothing we lacked while staying at Elin's and returning to her her lovely home was a wonderful respite after busy days of adventure and exploring. We made dinner several times and she made check in and check out incredibly easy. I also really appreciated the list of suggestions and information she provided during check-in. I can't recommend this spot enough and would certainly stay again if I return to Iceland ( and I hope to!).

I definitely recommend this beautiful and cozy cottage with a thermal pool, surrounded by beautiful Icelandic nature. The owners were always very friendly and helpful 😊

We make a family trip and it was the best place for stay those days! Peaceful environment, the house was super clean and completely prepared with everything! You just need go and relax. Lovely and cozy house :)

We loved our stay in their cottage!! They were incredibly welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for dinner once we arrived. The cottage and its surroundings are incredibly beautiful, and gave us an amazing opportunity to see the northern lights! I’d highly recommend staying here!

Alina was a very responsive and helpful host. Absolutely gorgeous area of the island and a perfect little stay with everything you need including a hot tub with a view! A little trouble with wifi and silverware but Alina was very timely with her troubleshooting. Highly recommended!

Es fehlt der Unterkunft an nichts, sehr schöne Lage, viele Natur Spektakel sind schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar, Polarlichter konnten wir vom beheizten Pool aus sehen und der Gastgeber hat immer schnell geantwortet. Wir waren zu viert und waren allesamt sehr zufrieden.

Jon's place in Flúðir was a delightful surprise! The space was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfect for exploring the stunning Icelandic countryside. The bathroom was a particular highlight, feeling more like a luxurious 5-star hotel than a vacation rental. The place was fully equipped with everything I needed, making our stay truly hassle-free. Jon was also very responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

We had a wonderful week staying at this AirBnb. From the time of our booking, Litten and Haraldur were responsive and friendly hosts. They answered any questions we had throughout our stay. The AirBnb is located in a beautiful location, with 360 views of snowcapped mountains and rolling hills. This is an ideal location if you’re looking to spend time in southern Iceland — there are attractions (geysir, waterfalls, hot springs) within 15 mins drive, or you can easily venture further along the coast for day trips. The house itself was spotless. We were able to relax and enjoy the peace and nature of our surroundings. Every amenity that would be needed was provided for.

In basement of house and bright and airy. Really cozy and warm. kitchenette well equipped. Lovely shower & bathroom. Elin knocked to check all ok after our arrival. It was great to have a chat one morning with Elin’s husband about the farm,church and area generally. Location is beautiful rural Iceland and made a great base for Gulfoss etc. Village of Fludir 5 mins away. Highly recommended!

Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Excellent Ethiopian restaurant which was a little gem to find just beside apartment. Well worth and visit!

We had to leave shortly after arriving because my daughter had a high fever and deep cough and we needed to be in Reykjavík closer to a pharmacy/doctor. Unfortunately we weren't able to spend the night. Karl's place was clean, comfortable, and easy to locate. We're hoping we have a reason to visit again sometime!

The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything needed. Shower Soap and shampoo were not offered. The living room area had 2 beds instead of a sitting area, however the kitchen table and chairs were fine to sit at.

Mi experiencia en este alojamiento fue excepcional. Desde el momento en que llegamos, la comunicación con el anfitrión fue fluida y amigable, dándonos todas las indicaciones necesarias para sentirnos como en casa. El espacio estaba impecable, decorado con mucho gusto y perfectamente equipado con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda y agradable. La ubicación es ideal, cerca de todo lo que necesitábamos, y la tranquilidad del lugar hizo que nuestro descanso fuera perfecto. Nos recibio con chocolates, sopa y pan. Super buena recomendacion si quieres hospedarte en algun sitio en Islandia

Underbart lantligt läge! Det var tydligt att någon hade ansträngt sig för att vi skulle känna oss välkomna. Lägenheten var fräsch och smakfullt inredd. Det fanns allt man behövde för att stanna ett par nätter. Kan varmt rekommenderas! När ni bor här, missa inte att ta ett bad i Hrunalaug som ligger längs vägen.
