The Balloon Loft is set on the Welsh Border with stunning views of the Shropshire hills. The map shows the accommodation to be in Montgomery but it is about two miles from Bishops Castle. The Long Mynd, The Stiperstones and Offas Dyke path are all within 20 minutes drive of the loft and all offer wonderful views of Shropshire & Powys - perfect for a walking holiday. The accommodation is very rural but easily accessible and apart from the sheep or cattle the area is quiet and peaceful.

Ideal as walking base or base when working in the area. Good parking just outside the barn - vehicles can be left whilst you walk the glorious hills around. Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.

Stable is one of a five cottage barn conversion adjacent to the host's home set amidst the beautiful Shropshire Hills and border Marches; on the edge of the Downton Estate and Mortimer Forest; with walks/cycling from the doorstep - this cottage is an ideal base for exploring the local area, further afield, or simply relaxing in our courtyard.

Lydham Heath Railway Carriage is at The Foxholes Campsite. The view is special, looking out towards the stunning views of the Stiperstones, LongMynd and beyond. The carriage is 50m from the shropshire way footpath, ideal for walkers looking to make the most of the South Shropshire hills. The Railway Carriage sleeps two, with a king sized bed and is dog friendly. Basic facilities; cold water tap, double induction hob, Airfryer, fridge/freezer, TV and electric heater.

This five bedroomed house, in the heart of Bishops Castle, is a perfect base for exploring the Shropshire Hills. The house sleeps 9 in five bedrooms. Bishops Castle is a very small, old market town, off the main roads, and 4 miles from the Welsh border. The town provides all you need for a short or long stay, from fuel, to shops, pubs and restaurants. But within a minute walk from the centre you can be in some of the most beautiful countryside in England.
