Jordan was a fabulous host his communication from start to finish was so friendly and prompt and the flat was exactly as described , beautifully presented and immaculate . The views over the Tyne are lovely and it is about a 30 minute walk along to the great bars and restaurants along the quayside so you are away from the bustle in a quiet residential area . We were there for the unforgettable Caraboa Cup celebrations and could easily walk up into town , one of my highlights was a run along the quayside seeing the iconic landmarks in the early morning . Thank you Jordan for the thoughtful goodies on arrival ! Highly recommend this stylish and comfortable property and we hope to make a return visit .

A beautiful quiet self contained space within easy walking distance of the town. Sara was friendly and welcoming, her homemade cookies were amazing, and I appreciated the beautiful flowers 😊 Thanks, it was exactly what I was looking for and I'd definitely stay again 😊

The location was great for us,being in walking distance from our son and his family.The studio was perfect,Spotisly clean and so easy for my Disabled husband because everything was on one level and beautifully fitted everything was of excellent quality.

This was a lovely stay! The house was cozy and very clean, easy to find, clear instructions for everything, & had everything that we could have needed during our stay! The hosts were very responsive as well. We had a problem with the heater but they came and helped us out the next day directly! Thank you so much, we had an amazing stay :)

Linda was so so helpful. She was an amazing host and was so quick to help. Very grateful for her welcoming nature. She was the first stop on our Hadrians Wall hike and set the bar high for accommodation!

We would definitely recommend staying at Karl’s house. It was easy to find, easy to drive in and out of and had private parking behind a locked gate. We found the home very comfortable, clean and felt homey. Karl was very helpful and responsive to all our queries. It was great being able to wash and dry our clothes every day with the convenience of a clothes line as well as hoist.

Adham’s property was perfect for the one night we spent in Durham. Really easy to access the city, easy to find and great communication from Adham. Thank you - we’ll be back

The only difficulty we had was the smart lock once we got the hang of it was not a problem. The house was very clean and had all the necessary facilities. The parking was spacious enough for two large vehicles with Lidl supermarket more or less on the doorstep. Next time I am in the area would like to stay here again

Fantastic little stay, house was easy to find and instructions on everything was clear. Nice quiet area and the house was lovely, Jenny was a massive help and quick to reply.

Ideal hub for myself and kids. Very comfortable, excellent kitchen and fast broadband. Would have preferred a better parking spot as I have a large car and needed to mount full kerb to access parking. I didn’t fancy parking on street as it was adjacent to small junction. Just something to note. Aside from that, very happy. Thank you very much

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic host, very responsive to our messages and was very flexible to accommodate our very late check in. Very understanding as we booked under difficult circumstances. Lovely spacious house and in immaculate condition.

Martins Farmhouse is a lovely, spacious house, furnished to a high standard and extremely well appointed. The location is very private and peaceful. We had a great few days with all our family - plenty space for adults, children, baby and dog. Would happily reccommend staying here.

We loved every minute of our stay and nothing was a bother to Mary. We were sent a lot of information before our arrival and Mary even took the time to inform us on the day that the cottage was ready early and we could check in as we pleased and also accommodating a late check out at no extra cost. The cottage was well equipped and we were supplied with tea ..coffee and some extra special biscuits along with fresh milk in the fridge on arrival which was really thoughtful. The bed was super cosy, bedding spotlessly clean and towels were super soft and fluffy . We did spend time on the outside patio which was relaxing and peaceful .There is absolutely nothing negative i have to say about my stay i will definitely be returning for another stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Seaview Penthouse, the beds were super comfy, the place was modern, cosy and spotlessly clean. We would definitely return here, it was beautiful to look out onto the sea every morning from our bedroom window. It also helped we had amazing weather for April! Thoroughly recommend The Lamp Room for breakfast, though do book if you can as it's super popular. Easy access to the Park & Ride for Durham and for visiting family in Sunderland, and collecting seaglass on the beach just down from the property is a great way to while away an hour or so. Communication from Melanie was prompt and she gave us plenty of info about the place in advance. Thank you again Melanie! We hope to come again soon!

Rod and Laura’s place was awesome! Super clean, comfy, and had everything I needed — felt just like home. The bed was really comfortable, and the location was perfect, just a short drive to town. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

Fantastic location for a weekend with a 16month old. Spacious bedroom, good quality cot, comfortable living room, well equipped kitchen. Short walk through a nice park with a kids playground and small boating lake, to get to the large sandy beach and the start of a coastal walk. We had no car and manged this trip from London, getting a nice coastal bus to and from Sunderland to the place and a bus back from our coastal walk.

Clean, tidy and finished to a high standard. Good access to the area and parts of the town. Friendly folks everywhere we went. walking distance to the Creamery and Pennine Way.

The property is well equipped with everything you could need and more. So peaceful and the garden was a perfect chilling spot for us and our dogs. There are some lovely walks from the apartment and Stephen very helpful and accommodating. The little touches were very much appreciated and we will definitely be back. Thank you.
