We had a fantastic stay at Wattle Bird for a friend's getaway. The house was spacious and comfortable—perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 dogs. Rob and Di were exceptional hosts, warm and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The property had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Barwon Heads, with standout amenities like the BBQ, hot tubs, and a cozy fireplace. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wattle Bird and would love to return!

This beautiful property is really one of the jewels of Wye River. It’s private and peaceful. Its unassuming exterior meant that going inside was like unwrapping a present you’ve always hoped for. Stunning forest views, well appointed. Has almost everything you might need and things you never thought to bring as well. The bed was the only real markdown, as it was a little firm, but that paled between all the good. Honestly you could spend the entire time next to the fireplace staring out at the forest, through the huge windows, with its endless native birds and animals, as well as the incredible changing light that trickles over the hills at sunset. Just magical. Highly recommend.

We spent two nights here and had a wonderful trip. It’s just a 10-minute walk from the beach. has two driveways, easy access for cars.T he balcony is excellent, birds visit every morning. The living room and kitchen are spacious.

This place is a real find! The beach house is fabulous with everything you need to have a fantastic time! Emily is just amazing with really quick reply to any questions, and to her absolutely best to be accomodating! Super host and fabulous stay!

This place has a beautiful and incredibly relaxing view of the ocean. It was clean and the bed is comfortable. It is spaciously set out and has a little BBQ area and is conveniently located near a street with all accessible amenities ( 1 min short stroll to ie Coles and coffee shops) which makes it great to cook and settle and enjoy the company of friends and family. Absolutely love this place and will be back very soon. we will miss the sunset and sunrises thankyou.

We stayed at Rachel's apartment as an overnight stop over but the experience was extraordinary compared to our other Airbnb stay. The first sight of the property was the kitchen and lounge area, because it's a transformed property, the ceiling is extremely tall and vantage feel. The kitchen and bathroom are very tidy and clean with all essentials. Bedroom beddings were clean and we had a good night sleep. Property have plenty of parking spots which is directly in front of the property entrance. The property also have fan, aircon and heater which is a plus for all seasons to visit Geelong. Although it's about a 5mins drive to the main port but location wise is still very convenient.

A lovely apartment, easy access and parking, beautifully presented which made the stay relaxing and very comfortable. Access to the restaurants,waterfront and other amenities was easy thanks to the location. A great place to have on my list especially during AFL season.

This accommodating part of Seafarers Getaway Resort. Check in was 3 pm on the dot. Accommodation was clean, has a small kitchen to cook should you wish and nice views of the beach. We were in apartment 9 out of 12 in the block. The apartments are side by side but private. The patio is side by side however separated by a wall. About 5 to 6 minutes drive to Apollo Bay town with plenty of food options.

Fabulous place! We had an amazing time and it's probably the best-equipped Airbnb we've ever stayed at. The attention to detail is impressive, with everything thoughtfully provided, from the cozy bedding to the well-stocked kitchen. The host truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. The location was perfect too—close to town and beach but still peaceful and private. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be back

Frances and Ray were great hosts. As described the accommodation is at the rear of their house but we were allowed our privacy and they were there if we needed them. Everything you required was included and it was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here if you are planning at visit to this area.

Fleur’s place is stunning - thoughtfully and beautifully curated with so many special little touches…it was such an idyllic, peaceful, and luxe retreat. The bed is super-comfy, the amenities are luxurious, this is one of the loveliest spaces I have stayed in. Fleur was responsive, warm, and such a generous host. She was even kind enough to extend our check-out to late afternoon! Highly recommended. Thanks so much for such a beautiful weekend Fleur. Hope to stay again soon!

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We loved the location, the views, cleanliness, tv and streaming access, well stocked kitchen with plenty of cleaning supplies, bbq, beautiful spa bath, lovely artwork, cosy lighting, oh and I nearly forgot one of the main things - the fantastic indoor wood heater with plenty of wood and also the fantastic communication with the owner who was so wonderful to deal with. Made our stay so easy with his clear instructions and amazing hospitality. Thank you for sharing your house with us with the gorgeous smells outside of the trees, fireplaces, and the sounds of the waves , it was an amazing and memorable stay away.

This was our second time here and we loved it just as much as the first. It's just great for pets: the enclosed yard is spacious so you can just let the doggo go outside and wander without worrying. The broader grounds are lovely. You feel like you are out in the country but if you forgot something, the Torquay shops are just a 10 min drive away. The animals, trampoline, pool, and ping pong are all great for the whole family. Terry is just lovely to chat with and very helpful if you need anything. Finally, check out the Great Ocean Road nursery and café just two doors down — delicious food and coffee and a very pleasant spot.

Couldn't be more positive about Ria's property. Not cheap but great value with a premium property well suited to our large family short stay - or any other medium group requirement. Pet friendly was a huge bonus. Property has multiple hang outs suitable for full group and the bespoke roof top area was a great bonus (and cigar spot!). Couple of minor issues that Ria sorted pronto! We'll be back.

This house was even better than pictured. We loved waking up to the amazing views of the ocean each day. We all (4 adults and two children) had plenty of space to sleep, eat, relax, and enjoy the natural beauty.
