This is a large property in Saiq, Jebel Al Akhdar providing private accommodation in this very special village in the mountains. We were very well looked-after by Muntaser who showed us around the stunning landscape and local villages including Al Aqor, Wadi Bani Habib and Al Suwgra (now an exclusive boutique hotel clinging to the mountainside where your baggage has to be transported via zipwire across the valley). He kindly drove our car from place to place so that we could do as little or as much exploring on foot as we wished. His experience of driving on the insanely steep off-road tracks was invaluable - despite the Nissan Patrol being a very capable 4x4, I would have been too nervous to do this myself! The most special treat was being invited for قهوة (coffee) which was a great honour appreciated by the whole family. Thank you Saif!

È stato tutto perfetto! É un’oasi di pace e tranquillità, nel bel mezzo delle natura, con la possibilità di fornirsi dei prodotti della terra amorevolmente coltivata dai proprietari (verdure, uova…), le capanne poi sono curate nei minimi dettagli in elegante stile Omanita. Nelle immediate distanze non c’è molto ma con l’auto si possono raggiungere facilmente siti bellissimi (il deserto, i Wadi, Nizwa…), per poi rilassarsi a bordo piscina! Lo consigliamo vivamente a chi ama la natura e la tranquillità!

I had a fantastic stay at this cozy studio! The space was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The interiors were absolutely beautiful and tastefully done, with a modern yet cozy vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit, including a well-equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and a super comfy bed. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and communication smooth from start to finish. The location was perfect too—close to great restaurants and cafes. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Unser Aufenthalt war rundum perfekt! Die Unterkunft war sehr großzügig geschnitten, modern eingerichtet und makellos sauber. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders geschätzt haben wir die ruhige Lage in der Nähe von Nizwa – die Stadt war in kurzer Zeit gut erreichbar, sodass wir problemlos Ausflüge und Erkundungstouren unternehmen konnten. Gleichzeitig konnten wir abends die entspannte Atmosphäre genießen. Alles war genau wie beschrieben oder sogar noch besser. Der Gastgeber war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Nous avons apprécié séjourner dans cet endroit si paisible que l’on se croirait coupé du monde. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner était très bon et Abdul-Qader a de très bonnes recommandations aux alentours.

Thank you for showing us that there’s still hope in this world with that being said, for everyone who is booking this Airbnb, Ahmed showed us from lunch until midnight every possible spot. He did not charge anything. He even refused to take our gifts for him and his family this shows what kind of personality they have. The Airbnb itself was wonderful, mashallah. Booked via Airbnb, but actually a villa in a resort complex. And this villa is absolutely fantastic. It’s quiet, spacious, and offers all the amenities you would expect from a hotel. There’s even a small kitchenette with a stovetop for those who want to cook… 😉 Everything was perfect for us! Highly recommended.
