Paul was so quick to respond to any questions I had. He was also very friendly and helpful. Heavens Gate, WOW, the name says it all. The cabin is so beautiful and very well decorated. When you first walk in, you're on the second floor. There's large sliding doors that lead outside to the deck that has the most amazing views of the lake. It is truly breathtaking! They have a very well equipped kitchen. It has a regular pot & a K-cup maker which came in handy. There are games, tv, great wifi and an awesome hot tub! The hot tub was hot and clean. We quickly unpacked, made a mimosa and jumped right in. That view, also amazing! The Wifi worked outside to play tunes while we soaked in the tub & amazing views. The road was scary for this FL girl, but you do get use to it. Also deer walked around the house and we saw an eagle. The beds were super cozy and there were plenty of dressers to unpack. The master shower was so nice. I can go on and on... just book it, you will not regret it!

Beautiful house on the Lake !! We had a family get together for the week and this home was so perfect for our families. Great location. Peaceful. Gorgeous views. Beautiful house, inside and out. One of a few that had minimal stairs to the water, which was important to us! We will definitely be back!

One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at! As a large family we appreciated the toys and games for all ages. The kids loved the dog and the surroundings were gorgeous! The place was very cleaned and was one of the most fully stocked rentals we’ve stayed in from the bathrooms to the kitchen! We hope to stay again!

I spent 3 nights on this property , the pricing was fair for the view and the amenities. Absolutely beautiful scenery, I hate that I didn’t get to get in the lake because of the weather , but so happy they had private hot tub on the property. The hot tub itself will leave you feeling stress free lol. The house was spotless and decor was beautiful very homie. I was suppose to have 5 guest but ended up just being 3 and feel like that’s the perfect amount of guest for this house. Love it , and highly recommend if you just wanna get away and enjoy some nature.

The house is such a gem!! It was perfect for our family of 9 for Thanksgiving. We could have never left the house our entire trip because the main level is so cozy and comfortable. There is plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. My son loved the little nook area with the bean bag. There is plenty of space to spread out with the 3 different living room areas. If you want a good workout - go for a walk! The house is at a higher elevation in the neighborhood, so you will have to walk down and back up. We hiked to Laurel Falls - that was another workout! Be prepared to drive a little ways to the grocery store. We brought most of our groceries but needed a few things and the next town is 25-30 minutes away. (Of course, there is always Dollar General that is closer!) Not many places to eat out. The first night we went to the Trading Post and the food was good and the people were so friendly, we stopped back in on our way out to say goodbye!

Stayed as a family four, two year old and five year old, and found the house to be the perfect size for our family. All listed amenities were available and since we booked the property was updated to now include a beautiful new deck in the back of the house with a grill and traeger smoker. Both kids greatly enjoyed the playset and the fenced in yard gave us peace of mind with the kids running around. Would recommend staying here and Michael is a great host who is responsive to messages and provides clear check in/check out instructions.

Mike place was exactly as listed. So much character in this cozy house. It was a bit dark because of all the woodwork but the beautiful Tiffany type lamps were nice - perfect for hanging out and talking after a fun day. Upstairs bedroom had lots of light! Woke to a symphony of Tennessee Birds every morning. The street had a loud fast truck every now and then, but the side streets were quiet and beautiful with blooming trees . Great for morning walk. The few steps to the upstairs are a bit steep and not recommended if stairs or balance are an issue. We loved the small fenced entry courtyard so our friends could bring their dog over while we hung out .

Had another enjoyable week at Ross’s Retreat. So much room to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake & Mountain View’s. The 2 kayaks always a plus. Hopefully will be back again next year. Thanks again.
