Great place to stay while visiting Watkin’s Glen and surrounding areas. Close to everything with a restaurant and winery right across the street. It was a bit tight for my family of 6 adults and a baby, but it would be terrific for a family of 4.

Betsy Lee is friendly and helpful! She greeted us when we arrived and made us feel comfortable instantly. An eagle perched on a branch less than 100 ft away from the porch, and regularly patrolled the creek over the 4 days and nights that we enjoyed in the subtle creek sounds and early signs of spring. With Rickets Glen close by, this is likely to be a destination we revisit in the future. If you are looking for local things to do, Betsy Lee has you covered… and if you just want to lounge the hours away in the romantic tree nest apartment and porch, she’s more than happy to give you your privacy. Fantastic and cozy house right off the beaten path of Lake Seneca wine trails. Perfect spot to stay while enjoying the wineries and lake activities, yet private and secluded with amazing views. The hosts are amazing and very welcoming. They had everything laid out and ready for us when we arrived and made us feel like home. Highly recommend this spot to enjoy all the wineries around the lake as well as local hiking trails and Watkins Glen State Park.

Beautiful home in a peaceful, private location. We were so comfortable and felt right at home! The large open concept kitchen and living room were perfect for family cooking and visiting. Incredibly comfortable reclining couches in the living room. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evening, in the screened in gazebo. Perfect Airbnb for a fall get away! A Place With A View was the perfect description. You could see Seneca Lake from inside, the covered porch, the firepit and the hot tub. We had a problem with the TV our first night. Dan called us immediately to try to work us through the problem. When it could not be corrected, Dan came the next day and fully addressed the problem. It is a great location for wineries, breweries and restaurants. Lots of plugs in the bedroom made easy use of our phone chargers and medical devices. Loved the two Lazy Boy sofas! Ability to use the carport was a real plus as they were calling for severe storms and possible hail on our first night. Would definitely return again. Dan and his wife were great hosts and appreciate them sharing their home with us.

It was great house with views didn’t get to experience outside too much coz of weather it was raining but enjoyed our stay there.Beautiful views.

We love this house! This is our second year staying here, and we hope to make it a yearly visit. It's set in a nicely wooded area with plenty of open fields that often have deer, turkey and other wildlife that make morning and evening appearances. The pond is thriving with small fish, and I felt that the toads had plenty to say about us visiting their space XD and the hot tub just adds another layer to relaxing in nature. We also love that it has an almost-off grid feel while still being able to connect (with upgraded internet from our previous stay!). We watched plenty of movies in the comfortable family room, spent a lot of time chilling at the dining table, and overall was able to relax in a comfortable, clean environment. We would recommend this place 100%!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. It was the perfect getaway to relax and reconnect as a family.
