Private bedroom includes a California king, walk-in closet, hickory hardwood floors, ceiling fan, and an individual thermostat for the second floor to keep you comfortable. Enjoy the high-end finishes of our spa-like carrara marble bathroom that features a rain shower head and bench. The living room boasts a Joybird sofa with a pull out queen sized, memory foam mattress for a restful night’s sleep. Kitchen features custom wood cabinetry, soapstone counters, stainless steel appliances, and a reclaimed wood island with seating. Ceiling fans throughout to keep you cool during hot summers. I am always available by text or phone. I do live in the main house on the property and can be reached in person if arranged. Take a 2-block stroll to burgers, breweries, sushi, gelato, gourmet coffee and tea, and even a speakeasy. Children will love the on-site playground at The Friendly Spot. Go for a run along the paved San Antonio River trail and enjoy the scenic views. Ask us about our favorite spots! San Antonio offers multiple ways to get around. In addition to walking to many restaurants and attractions, there are bike rentals through Uber Jump bikes and scooters from an assortment of companies, as well as, short Uber and Lyft rides.

Private quarters with separate entrance, spacious living room, full kitchen, bedroom w/closet, bathroom w/shower, and a covered sitting area overlooking city. 15 minutes from Fiesta Texas and Sea World, 25 minutes from downtown, and one mile away from Old Town Helotes. Pool & hot tub are available for additional fee of $50 per pool use in the morning 9:00 - 4:00, or in the evening 4:00 -10:00. Pool is not heated during colder months, only hot tub is.

As you pass from the outside deck into the Cottage's living room you will pass from the 21st century, back in time to a more leisurely mid-20th century Cottage. This newly renovated cottage has a kitchen that is built up around original cabinetry; but, has new appliances tastefully incorporated. The hallway leads to the 2 bedrooms with their antique style beds; but , with 12" memory foam mattresses. The bathroom boasts a walk-in glass shower and a sink right out of the 1947 Sears catalog.

We are in the Monte Vista Historic District, a 1-mile square walkable neighborhood 3 miles north of downtown and a 1.5 miles from the Pearl District. Our main house is a 1914 Prairie Style residence sheltered by the largest oak tree in San Antonio. We are happy to share our back yard, pool pavilion, and pool during our guests' stays.
