This place was beautiful, exactly as pictured. It was a great little getaway for the couple days we stayed. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The pictures of the view do not do it justice. It was a great spot! Also if you go, you have to try the drip coffee shop. It’s amazing!

We did not want to leave! We cannot wait to go back with our children, family, and friends! Peter was amazing with communication and answering questions. The place is gorgeous, the view is breathtaking, and incredibly peaceful. Outstanding rental! No complaints!

Incredibly awesome place! A must-- stay! My wife and I just got back from being here for our 25th anniversary. no unpleasant surprises when arriving here. Everything absolutely accurate based on the photos and all descriptions. A beautifully designed cabin, spacious, outdoor hot tub and fire pit, wrap around porch, lots of land to explore in the beautiful Pennsylvania mountains by the Susquehanna river. Even saw a large group of elk as we were pulling up! Secluded, peaceful, and an all-around quality property. All instructions were clear, simple, and fair. Several items are labeled for convenience, everything easy to use and operate. Also, Paul was a perfect host - very responsive, accommodating, helpful, and great customer service every time I contacted him. I couldn't have asked for a better stay for mine and my wife's special occasion. Great experience for a fair price, worth every dollar! Thanks again Paul.

We had a great time and it was beautiful and peaceful. Everything was as described and Jeff and Tarra were always available! I would second their suggestion to not bring a low car, as the road up is quite rough. You will feel like you’re truly away here.

Peter was extremely attentive and proactive as a host. He messaged me multiple times to check in and sending helpful information prior to checkin. The house itself was very cute, clean, and cozy. Nothing was forgotten from a keurig to towels for both showering and the hot tub. The area is private and beautiful. We saw a porcupine on the walking trail and two deer walked up to the cabin in the early morning. We felt peaceful and replenished after leaving, although it was a short visit. Recommending to our friends and family!

Wayne and Brandy were gracious hosts. They were very detailed in both the check-in and check out. The place was fantastic, well organized, clean, and endless amenities around the house to enjoy. We ended up with 11 people, and there was plenty of space for all of us to sleep, I highly recommend to anyone staying here to get the guest shed in the back as it provides additional sleeping spots. Wayne and Brandy got back to me very quickly with any question or concern that I had and I will definitely be looking to book with them and some of their other properties in the future.

This was the 2nd time I stayed at the Ginger Bear and it was fantastic! Loved the peaceful location and all of the critters we could see from the windows. I also loved the trails on the property. It was a great place to walk my dogs. My husband and I are already taking about our next trip!

We traveled five hours to the cabin in order to see the dark sky. We even brought a telescope. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and we weren't able to see the sky. Bummer. We did however see our first elk herd traipse through the yard, what a beautiful sight. The cabin was beautiful. Super clean, and had a coffee lover's dream coffee cabinet. There were dog blankets provided for the furniture which was a great touch. We always travel with our own. It's close to lots of hiking trails which we really appreciated. Lorie was a super host. I can see why her rating is so high.

Great stay for my family of five! My husband, our two littles, and our pup wanted a last minute weekend getaway and Richard made everything so easy! From flexible check in, to prompt communication, he was great to work with. The place was quiet, felt so homey, and had EVERYTHING you could want. Richard even set up a pack and play for our daughter so we didn’t have to bring one. Close to a lot of trails but nothing directly walkable from the house, and most attractions and stores were closed off season, but would be great to come back to in the spring or summer.

Beautiful property. Wonderful setting. Very clean & tidy. The location was ideal for exploring parks during the day and stargazing by the fire at night. We had an amazing stay.

We stayed here last year at the same time in March. We like the hiking opportunities in the area. awe were also fortunate to get another warm weekend in mid March (same as last year) and managed to get out on a nice trail again this year. Becki is very responsive has prepared a wonderful home for a quiet weekend or a longer stay. We are very likely to continue to return here on a regular basis.

The cabin was actually better in person than the photos. Very clean, quiet, and had everything you need. It’s one of several on the property but felt pretty private. There’s a creek behind the cabins and enjoyed hearing the running water. Twenty minutes to Cherry Springs and about an hour to Wellsboro. The WiFi was spotty but the host was quick to respond and did his best to fix the issue. Would stay again.

Me and my family had another awesome stay at Cooters Cabin.Stephanie had the camp all ready for us with no issues or problems. We went ATV Riding and did some Trout Fishing along with Camp Fire at night. I highly recommend Cooters Cabin and will booking again for Next Year.Thanks Stephanie .Kevin Nellis

Beautiful location, the cabins are extremly cozy and warm on a cold night. Very friendly Hosts, with amazing art, and a pretty good size land for a little adventure. Hoping to be back in the summer time with warmer weather and a better chance for clear skies. Oh!! And they have fire wood to purchase for camp fires. That was super awesome. Thank you for the experience, and the mini girls night vacation. Hopefully next time I won’t forget the eggs! Thank you.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was so peaceful, cozy, and relaxing. We were welcomed by 2 deer as soon as we pulled in! Even thought it was snowy and rainy , we loved every bit of it. We even took a trip to Driftwood, PA to go fishing and we even saw some elk too! We will definitely come here again!

Rhonda and Dennis were very friendly and accommodating. They plowed the roads for us after a snowfall and even laid down gravel during our stay to ensure we could get our cars out. The cabin was exactly as advertised, and we were very happy with it. The beds were soft and comfortable, making for an easy and restful sleep. My friends and I had a great time staying here!

The cabin was in a great location and beautiful. The interior was spotless and well stocked.

This is our second stay at the cabin and it was great. We come to the area to visit family and this is the perfect place to stay with our dogs and kids. The dogs love the adjacent field and the kids love all the games and movies. I love that my dogs, kids and husband are happy and I can relax!

We had a wonderful "grown-ups" weekend without our daughter. Great cabin, was clean and comfortable. Central to outdoor activities and wineries. Would definitely come back!

This is a really nice place to stay. Maybe one of the better places that I have stayed in this area. Very clean. Only problem there was concerned getting the oven to work. Had to really smash down on the bake button to get it to work. Host was pretty responsive, property was clean and taken care of. It’s all bunk beds but they were surprisingly comfortable. Very large front room with large wrap around couch, 2 recliners and large dining table. Two bedrooms with 2 bunk beds each. Also a very small washing machine and dryer. It does sit in a very little community (maybe 10 to 15 other homes) so if you’re looking for solitude away from everything, then this is not the place. It’s 9 miles to Ridgway which was convenient to get supplies. It’s a short drive to everything the highlands has to offer. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the area, I’d definitely give this place consideration.
