The c1855 Country House is set on the private grounds of the old Newtown grocers, which has now been turned into a multifunctional venue by local design partners Megan & Ollie. The accomodation in the shopkeeper's residence has been lovingly restored complete with original heritage features. Peace promised with 50 meters between cottages. Our cottages are self contained with wood fired hot tubs for the cold days, or use without a fire in summer to cool off. On site Cellar Door open Wed to Sat. Note: You need to make a fire to use the hotubs in cottage 3 and 4, if you are not familiar with fire, book nr 1 or 2 as they are electric.

This unique and tranquil experience, your very own mud brick cottage set on a lavender farm with sunsets and fantastic views. 5km to Bright Township. Also near by is the Ovens river, autumn colour, rail trail bike path, golf course and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet. A well equipped kitchen and BBQ on your own veranda. The property even has a private mountain stream. The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.

Moyhu is located in the King Valley and situated ideally between Milawa and Whitfield which allows easy access to both these renowned wine producing areas. We are located a 10 minute walk to Moyhu hotel and cafe and a short drive to many wineries and restaurants in the area. It is part of our home but private with your own access and fully enclosed outdoor area .
