What a great AIRBNB. Perfect for our week holiday in the gold coast and a great base camp for the theme parks. Great position just opposite the beach which makes going for a swim at any time of the day easy. Lots of great bars and places to eat within walking distance too.

We had such a fun time! The property is walking distance from the beach. Deb and Doug gave some excellent recommendations! It was so nice to be able to take our dog with us!

Fantastic place and location right next to the dog-friendly beach, which we and our pup enjoyed so much! The house is a great retro style.

For people who want to bring their pups with them, I cannot recommend the Treehouse more. Just a stones throw away from the Belongil Dog beach and within easy walking distance to the town centre, it’s truly a gem of a find.

Apartment was lovely, we had everything we could need for our stay and were very comfortable. Christine and Andy were very proactive with communication, especially with check in info that was helpful. All round a great stay!

Lovely cottage and well set up. I live a place that has generous facilities such as crockery cutlery and cooking condiments etc. We were able to use the outdoor bungalow which meant our adult family could spread out. Lots of bush turkeys did keep the dog occupied but that is Byron and certainly not unique to Kathy’s. The parking at the rear was very helpful given we have a 4 wheel drive. Loved the walk to the dog beach - so close and we had the opportunity to visit the farmers market on the reserve behind Kathy’s on a Thursday. Thanks again Kathy for the flexible check in and great communication.

A really lovely stay here! Lana and Tracey are great hosts and are very accommodating. The place was so lovely and homely, I felt comfortable straight away. It has everything you need. A nice quiet location but walking distance from everything. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Lois was great with communication and did a massive favour for me with no hassle. I left my festival tix in sydney and she picked them up from her PO Box and delivered them to me. Very kind!! Place is in my fave location in Byron. Belongil opposite the beach. Great spot.

I had a very good holiday with my family. Really loved the apartment and its view to ocean. Much recommended and surely will be choosing to book with Caroline in future again

My friends and I had such a lovely stay. All of the beds were so comfortable and there was lots of space. The plunge pool was decadent and being so close to the main pool was fantastic too. Everything was easy and the hosts were super helpful and lovely. Would definitely come and stay again.

Beautifully appointed home with tons of room all within walking distance to the beach. Great access to local shops, the pool was an added bonus. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.

The unit is as exactly as described and more so with very comfortable furniture and bedding, nicely decorated and extremely clean. The resort has a few pools one is heated and a spa. Walk straight down onto the beach out from the patio no roads to cross. Great walking track out from the patio. Great hotel, surf club and cafe overlooking the beach and Woolworths across the road. Had everything we needed for our Easter Weekend.

Awesome location, great space. The deck overlooking Byron Bay is worth it. Close to great surf and all that Byron has to offer.

This is the second year we have stayed here for our family holiday and we will definitely be back! Perfect location, walking distance to Belongil Beach with glorious swimming and you can hear the waves at night. Away from the craziness of Byron town centre, so we really felt we had been away as a family together. Town is still very close and walking distance away so a perfect location for all the family. Deb and Sarah were always very responsive and available if required- perfect hosts. The house was perfect for us and as described, in a very quiet and peaceful location.

great location to explore Byron Bay and a lovely complex with a great pool/spa and a stones throw from the beach. The apartment is listed as a 2 bedroom plus a single bed in a study, but the main bedroom/study are a single room without any doors, which limits privacy, but overall a great place to stay!

Very much enjoyed our stay at Steves unit. It was even better than the photos, very spacious for 2 people, with high ceilings and lots of natural light. It was spotlessly clean and fresh. Breakfast on the patio was a real treat, overlooking the river, the birdlife, people fishing and swimming. The very popular boardwalk right outside gave us quick easy access to the main beach and the many cafes and restaurants. I chose the location because of its close proximity to the beach and the shops, and as a base to drive up to Lamington National park (around 1 hr) and down to Byron for a day trip (40 mins). Having close access to the shared laundry with washing machine, dryer and space to iron was a bonus. Steve lives in the unit upstairs, and was friendly and helpful, showing us all the features of the unit and helping us to settle in. Parking was off the street, right next to the entrance. All in all, a great stay.

Amazing place to stay with the family! Our kids loved playing on the little beach, and we loved the view from the deck! The house was so lovely - we all commented that we felt right at home the moment we got there. Lindy was so responsive and was happy to accomodate some changes we made to our numbers. This place is the perfect place for a family getaway!

We had such a lovely stay in Adam’s beautiful place. It was perfect for the kids, such a lovely town.

We stayed at Sharlene’s place over a long weekend (2x couples). The apartment is well appointed, clean and a nice space to relax after exploring the local area. The fans and air conditioning were well enjoyed on a humid weekend. The kitchen is also stocked with utensils etc to make a home-cooked meal. In addition, we left an item of clothing behind. Sharlene was extremely helpful in sending it back to us via post. Would highly recommend a stay at Sharlene’s apartment if visiting the Gold Coast.

Beautiful accommodation and location. This is our second time visiting and we will keep on coming back! The unit is luxurious and welcoming. It is private, quiet and close to beautiful beaches and delicious food. A perfect getaway. Can’t wait for our next visit.

The house was very average for the price and I wasn’t thrilled with the bunk bed situation, but the kitchen and common space was great with a fantastic view and walk right out to the beach! That part made up for the bedrooms. The showers were also great! It rained the whole time but pushing open the sliding doors and looking out to that view was so peaceful. Kelly was a wonderful host!
