Renovated in 2022, the cabin is comfy but you can expect creaky floors, original woodwork, and a few quirks that come with age. The cabin is authentic, and thoughtfully kept. You will have TV, wifi, central heat, air conditioning but expect to hear the water pump run and there is no dishwasher.

In the 1970s, artist Jim Simon dismantled the log cabins and re-erected them on the Simon Family Farm. Red Fox Ridge was named for the red fox often spotted running the ridge overlooking the river. We also have Mabel's Cabin or The Bell House around the corner, available for rent... Perfect for if you're traveling with extended family or friends and need more room, or if The Lawson Cabin is already booked.

This lovely creekside cabin is on one of southwestern Ohio's premier deepwater fishing and boating streams. Private and cozy, this Amish-built retreat is well appointed and well cared for and has a large dock. The hosts are well known for their hospitality. The rate is a flat rate and there are no additional cleaning fees. This cabin is available only to singles and doubles.
