Newly converted double garage conversion into a lovely bright and airy self contained flat. Their is a large bedroom with adjoining toilet, shower and hand basin. Their is a roomy kitchen sitting area equipped with small tv with loads of freeview channels. electric oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge with small freezer compartment. Plates cups, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans etc. An iron and ironing board is also provided. The kitchen has a breakfast/laptop bar and stools and a Settee. We’re very happy with this lovely conversion and hope you will be too. There’s off street parking provided for one car and own private secure access to the flat. The Ashdale Bee is the perfect place to relax and explore the local area of Battlesbridge, a picturesque village in the Crouch Valley. Visit the famous antiques centre, walk or paddle along the river or enjoy some food and drink in one of the many country pubs. Jump on the train and travel along the Crouch Valley line to vineyards, more river walks or the quiet, unspoiled, riverside town of Burnham on Crouch. Alternatively, travel in the opposite direction and London awaits within 40mins.

Formerly an Annex to the main house it is ideally situated for walking/hiking with easy access to the RSPB marshes of Cliffe. Beautiful views of the Kent countryside leading to Cooling Castle Barn, St Helens Church, Cliffe and St James church which inspired Charles Dickens to write Great Expectations where the hero Pip met Magwitch the convict. Easy car access to Historic Rochester Castle and Cathedral.

The Pickers' Lodge

Based on the outskirts of Chelmsford this unique cabin sits on a working fruit farm. It offers a peaceful setting to work from or relax in which overlooks a small plum orchard. Just a short walk away you can pick up supplies from Lathcoats Farm Shop or use The Bee Shed Coffee House for breakfast or lunch. The Picker's Lodge offers a kettle, toaster, microwave and everything you need for something quick and easy in the evening or visit a local pub or restaurant, plenty to choose from!

The secret hideaway (SS6)

Check-in is from 4pm. Check-out is by 10.00am. Early check in available for supplement as is check out. The Secret Hideaway is a self contained living space. Make use of the cooker to prepare a meal or relax watching your latest TV series. The bathroom is fully equipped with a power shower and is stylishly decorated with light grey tiles and white brickettes. Enjoy the comfort of a double bedroom equipped with bedside stylish cabinets and a clothes rail. Close to the A127.

Private studio with deck

A comfortable studio apartment set apart from the main house with off road parking right outside. Guests have their own front door, and there is a private deck looking out over neighbouring farmland . The studio has a private shower room, fresh towels and sheets are provided. There is a small kitchen area and dining table. It is very likely that we can arrange check in and check out times to suit us both, and we are happy to advise on the local area. Please ask!

The Hutch is in Leigh-on-Sea, close to parks, Southend Airport (3.9miles), shops (0.5miles for Leigh-on-Sea & 3.9miles for Southend High Street), the Estuary (1.5miles), Cliffs Pavilion (2.3miles) and the hospital (1.5miles). You’ll love my place because of the location, it's privacy as it's a self-contained lodge with its own access, and courtyard as well as off street parking My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
