Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

Amazing two-story house nestled high up in the trees. A true treehouse! This treehouse sits amongst a forest of poplar trees and feels very secluded and private. It has spectacular views of Kentucky’s rolling hills as it looks out across the valley. This treehouse was hand built and handcrafted with love and attention to detail. Located just off of I65 outside the historical little town of Franklin, KY. We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) and Mammoth Cave (55 min).

Unique & Authentic Farm Experience

A truly one of a kind farmstead experience -stay in a newly constructed barn apartment on our 500 acre dairy farm. The Mattingly farm is home to Kenny's Cheese - farmstead cheese made right here onsite. This is a unique opportunity to stay in the heart of the action, in our modern apartments directly above the dairy barn. You will be welcomed by our friendly dairy cows and possibly a new baby calf or two. Simply because our cheese is AMAZING, we will leave some in the fridge for you to try!

Flower Farm Modern Loft Retreat - Mammoth Cave

Peaceful privacy on our 227 acre farm, convenient to Bowling Green, Mammoth Cave, and Barren River Lake. The 900 sq ft loft above our home’s garage has private exterior entrance to the finished modern farmhouse loft with completely separate ductwork and HVAC system. The loft features everything you need to stay at the farm and relax: high end, furnished kitchen to cook meals in & fiber optic internet to work or stream. Adirondack chairs and a propane fire pit make for wonderful stargazing.

This beautiful cottage was built in 2020 with the goal of creating a "cabin getaway" from the fast pace of life. The view off the large screened in porch is considered one of the best on Barren River Lake! This home offers three spacious bedrooms and two large baths. It has beautiful white pine walls and ceilings, hardwood floors, granite kitchen counters, and a gas fireplace. There are many large windows for great views of the lake. Lakeview Cottage is family friendly!

Modern A-Frame Cabin Near Barren River Lake & Mammoth Cave Relax in this peaceful getaway, just a short drive to Barren River Lake State Park and within easy reach of Mammoth Cave, Bowling Green, Scottsville, and Glasgow. Two bedrooms with queen beds, a game room with an arcade and foosball, and a cozy fire pit for s’mores. A queen air mattress is available upon request. The driveway is paved but steep—use caution in bad weather.
