Family Oasis on Lake Desire: Kayaks + Grill!

You truly won’t find a more responsive and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, felt comfortable and at home. The location is beautiful and is just like the pictures. The home had everything we needed, including extra phone chargers for those who forgot them. We had 8 adult women for a “girls getaway” and it was the right size for us. Plenty of room to be together and places to relax in smaller groups or have a rest away from the group. The view and the reviews are what made us reserve this home and we weren’t disappointed. Now it’s your turn to enjoy!

The Treeframe Cabin

This cabin/treehouse is a complete GEM! It's nestled within some of the most scenic views we have ever witnessed, especially the old growth forest along the Skykomish River. I highly recommend any of the cabins that Nick has available. The experience is worth every penny! Thank you, Nick, for sharing this amazing experience with us. We can't wait to come back!

Stayed at Danae's guest cottage for 2 nights during a quick solo getaway in the region and it was perfect. Clean, comfortable, fast wi-fi, safe, beautiful, and close to where I was headed in the area. Danae was a great host--proactive, clear and helpful; even let me know I that I forgot something and facilitated its return. People say this all the time, but I definitely plan to stay again next time I'm in the region! Thanks Danae!

Cozy Riverside Cabin W/ Hot Tub Near 12 Epic Hikes

Fantastic getaway spot. It's not completely isolated, but Index is a very tiny town with its own charm. Breathtaking mountain views. I enjoyed sitting on the porch each morning sipping my coffee to the sounds of the river. The host was very responsive and more than eager to help resolve any issues I had, which mostly involved me fumbling in the kitchen looking for various cookware. The Dutch oven in particular got a lot of use out of me. The power did go out once for six hours, so be aware of that risk. There are instructions on what to do during extended power outages, which includes a gas-powered fireplace and even a generator if you really need the electricity. There is a train track nearby, which seems to have a train going by every 1-3 hours, including through the night, so if you're not a heavy sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs. Overall, I very much enjoyed my retreat, and I hope to come back someday.

When we first arrived there were 3 deer in the yard barely acknowledging our existence which was fun to watch. The place has a great view and it’s very peaceful. It was easy to get into and it was very clean. Recommended!

Dan is a great host! His rustic cabin looked like the photos, was extremely clean, and well organized. This is a great place for young families with a ton of board games, an old style arcade game to pick multiple old school games, a new gaming system, toys, swing set, and crib. My tween kids loved the video games and the well maintained hot tub the most. I especially liked having the EV charging as well. Thank you for a great stay Dan!!

What a perfect spot to soak up the magic of Mercer Island! Aric was an excellent host, he always responded quickly and proactively to ensure that our stay had every luxury of home. Aric’s description of his home was modest, as we found the space to be even more accommodating than described. Every high expectation the photos set of a relaxing vacation lost in the trees was exceeded, thank you Aric and fam for the awesome memories our family will always share of your home!

Cozy Cabin in the Woods, family friendly & hot tub

Very nice home! Clean and well stocked - the only thing we couldn’t locate was a can opener. Although the listing did mention it, I didn’t realize that the bunk room was off of another bedroom, and without a separate entrance. Great place to hang out as a family! The kids had a great time sledding, hot tubbing, and making s’mores by the campfire. The host was friendly, responsive, and flexible, which was greatly appreciated!

We loved our stay at Dragonfly Estates. The place is large enough that there'll be plenty of space for when we bring the family, but is an open living area with the dining, living, and kitchen all in the same place making it feel very cozy. We also loved how unique the place was. It is clear that it was decorated in an incredibly thoughtful manner. Our first few hours there were simply looking at all the unique art, decorations, etc. We did have an incident when the pipes froze, but Ronda and her family were very helpful in resolving the issue. I can't wait to see what it looks like in the spring!

Manjinder’s house was extremely spacious and suited our needs well. This is the second house we’ve used that Manjinder has owned. We appreciated his willingness to come change the heat for our ladies prayer retreat after 10pm. Manjinder you rock 💯🥳🥰

Everything about the property was exactly what our family needed. Love the separate spaces in the home. Communication was nearly immediate for anything we needed. Greatly appreciated the extra supplies as that is not common for other hosts

We had a wonderful time at Sheila’s cabin. The added touches of hand written note, bottle of wine and snacks were unexpected and a very classy touch!! The space was huge and perfect for our family with young kids. Would definitely recommend!

Hilary and Rob's place is exactly as described. The house was so clean, cozy, and the perfect place to relax. We really enjoyed our stay. They are super easy to get in touch with if needed. Response time was very quick.
