Stunning place to camp and fish the photos don’t do it justice, will definitely be coming back already planning a trip for the spring

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Lakefield, Ontario. The check-in process was seamless and communication with the host was smooth throughout. The cottage was cozy and well-kept, nestled in a peaceful and quiet setting that made for a truly relaxing getaway. I especially loved the tranquil surroundings—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Everything was just as described, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a serene retreat!

The Hay Bay Hideaway exceeded our group's wildest dreams for the perfect End of Summer get-away. We could not have asked for a more peaceful and unique property and home, with exceptionally communicative, helpful, and gracious hosts. Our group of 10 slept comfortably in the 5 bedrooms this historic home offers, indulged in the well stocked pantries, utilized the gorgeous selection of vintage dish-ware, and experienced cozy nights by the beautiful wood stove fireplaces while enjoying a wide array of musical instruments available throughout the home. This property backs onto a private inlet with still, lily pad covered water, visited by blue herons, kingfishers, blue jays and many other woodland friends. We also enjoyed the various watercrafts, including a row boat, pedal boat, and canoe on the open water that connects directly to the small inlet. The experience was incredibly unique, absolutely smooth and accessible, and deeply memorable. A return trip is definitely in the works :)

Magnifique nuit chez Christine ! Un endroit reposant et dépaysant en proximité avec la nature ! Christophe cuisine très bien et a été adorable avec les enfants en les aidant à approcher les animaux. A wonderful quiet few days - excellent privacy and on the water. Lots to do in PEC, and lovey to return to Aminah's private and cozy retreat. The place was clean, uncluttered, and perfectly suited our needs. Great fire pit, too. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend with our adult kids - too cold for swimming, but being on the water is still magical.

Great stay with our adult children and their partners. Appreciated the private basement sleeping area and washroom to give everyone privacy and space. Large kitchen table that easily fit us all. Beautiful sunsets on a peaceful sandy bottom lake. Nice to walk the long quiet road with our dogs and Lakefield was about 10 minutes away with cute small town shops. Nerissa checked in with us often to ensure a smooth trip. We would come back!

Liz has a beautiful guest house...this was our second visit and we will return in the near future❤️ ...quiet and romantic spot to getaway!

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à Sandbanks dans le chalet de Scott. L’emplacement, les commodités, le complexe, les attentions et petits cadeaux de bienvenue de Scott, le Pass annuel pour la plage, tout a été parfait! Le chalet est parfaitement situé dans le complexe, le stationnement est juste en arrière, peu de voisinage, très proche de la piscine et des zones d’activités sportives et de loisirs. Nous étions également à 7 minutes des plages et 10 minutes de Picton, vraiment une très bonne situation! Nous souhaitions surtout nous reposer et passer un beau moment en famille au soleil et nous avons été comblés. Nous pensons fortement revenir plus souvent à l’occasion.

The trailer had everything we needed for a family vacation. The part of the trailer with the kids bunks was very spacious with a play area and there were toys and games for the kids to play with. The pool at the campground had two lifeguards at all times, which I was very happy with. The campground also had a small Beach with a lot of communal toys to share. Racheal was easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. We really appreciated that she let us know ahead of time that there was an event at the campground for the kids on the day that we were arriving so that we could be prepared and enjoy it. We did a day trip to the Warsaw caves which I would definitely recommend!

Eric was super helpful. He even helped us to set fireplace. House was also very beautiful

L’endroit est tres calme et correspond bien a la description. C’est plaisant de pouvoir avoir accès au lac et a des embarcations sans frais. Les instructions que j’ai reçues étaient très s clair. Seul petit bémol il manquait les coussin du dossier au divan ce qui le rend tres inconfortable autrement j’ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour. Merci

This was a fun, peaceful trailer park resort with amazing amenities and gorgeous surroundings. While the trailer homes were close to each other, the fact that it was a quiet family environment, and that our spot was positioned towards the woods and had just the right window dressings, meant that we still had all the privacy we wanted. We would definitely consider coming back again. Jacqueline's place was a great place to rest up after a fun day.

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

My family had a great time at the resort. Roberto was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The home was clean and comfortable and exactly as pictured. It was. Perfect spot for kids as there is tons to do on the resort grounds and you are 15 minutes from almost all major attractions. The pool was fantastic for kids with a very large shallow end, towel service, life jackets etc. will definitely return next time we are in PEC.

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

We loved our stay at Paul's cottage! The place was really nice and incredibly clean. Paul was very attentive and quick to answer any questions we had. It's right on the lake and the views were beautiful. Definitely would stay there again!

Patti and Dennis were amazing ! There was a bad snow storm and they allowed us to stay an extra night, to hunker down through the storm to make sure we had everything we needed to stay comfortable and safe. So nice ! The suite was warm clean and had very comfortable beds. It was very quiet and peaceful. The view of stoney lake was beautiful. It was the perfect winter retreat/getaway . I highly recommend this Inn. Definitely a 5 star stay ! We are very happy and thankful to find this hidden gem 💎

My friends and I planned a one-day vacation, and I can say that for such a plan, this cottage is a very good place. It offers picturesque views of the lake and trees, and a peaceful environment where you can only hear birdsong. Also, Andrey was very supportive.

A perfect place for our family to enjoy time together - all generations! Accommodation was perfect for a family. Generous sharing of toys for the children! Absolutely loved the view - and the hot tub, sauna and fire pit helped us create special family memories during spring break. Joanie is a generous host and was super responsive to all of our queries. We really appreciated the family feel of the home alongside the delightful decoration and extra provisions. We would give 6 stars if that was possible! We were truly blessed by our stay. Thank you!

Great location right on the Trent River! Very nice outdoor space with lots of things to do and perfect for fishing, etc. Lots of fun with our family of 6!

Really enjoyed our stay, lots of space and lovely view off the lake. It was a bit cold, even with the heating, but we were able to make a fire which helped. Only issue is that the dump is only open certain days, which would have been helpful to know, but we managed to find other places to take it. Also, there were some amenities like towels, soap etc already there which was helpful. local foodland only 10 min drive to get other stuff and loads of lovely local walks. We had a great time.

We had a fantastic stay! Kelly was incredibly friendly and very responsive, making the entire process smooth and welcoming from start to finish. The property itself is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The highlight for us was the stunning lake, which added such a peaceful and scenic touch to our getaway. The home was also impressively well-equipped and stocked with everything we needed and more, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

We travel a lot and this is one of those gem kind of places that you are so happy you discovered. The cottage has some of the most beautiful water views I have ever seen. This was our first time visiting Lake Ontario and we were surprised by how much this lake is more like the ocean than a lake. The color of the water turns aqua blue like the Caribbean when the sun beats on it. Even on a cold spring day, you can hear the waves crashing on the rocks below. It is a very special serene place. We stayed an extra day just to be able to sit and do nothing but watch the water. House is in a great location and you can walk to the grocery store and numerous restaurants and bars in Wellington. Picton and PEC wine country are short 15 minute drives away. Doug is a very responsive and wonderful host.
