Bandarawela: soggiorni in ville vacanze

Krásné a skvěle vybavené ubytování. Místo je dál od centra ale obklopené krásnymi stromy a klidnou přírodou. Mnoho zvířat k vidění hned u domu. Lal byl pohotový a připravený pomocí s čímkoliv. Určitě bychom se pristě rádi ubytovali znovu a déle. Doporučuji a moc děkujeme.

This is an outstanding villa in a hillside location with wonderful views of the surrounding hills including Little Adam's Peak, a waterfall, endless forest and low areas far away towards the coast. Rumesh was very welcoming and helpful with walking suggestions and tuk tuk bookings. Ella is a 30 min ride away and the track down to the villa from the road is bumpy with steep sections. The food was home made, delicious and varied and was cooked fresh each day by a lady in the local village. The villa has two very well appointed bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and a large central area where we ate meals and relaxed. There is a small library and some yoga mats. Rumesh had planted cacao, mango, curry leaf bush, coriander and lime trees close to the property and we were able to walk through these. The wildlife includes a profusion of Sri Lankan birds, squirrels, boar and fire flies. This is one of those special places in the world that will stay with you for ever. Thank you.

Wir haben drei Nächte (zum Neujahrswechsel) in dieser schönen Villa in Badulla verbracht. Wir wurden mit dem Jeep bis zur Unterkunft gebracht und dort sehr herzlich vom Team empfangen. Im Haupthaus befindet sich unten der Wohn- und Essbereich, wo auch das Essen (was wirklich immer lecker war) zubereitet und serviert wird. Oben waren dann unsere beiden Schlafräume, wobei eines der Zimmer sogar zwei Schlafräume hatte. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Alle waren wirklich sehr herzlich. Sie haben uns wie Familienmitglieder an ihren Spielen und Ritualen zur Neujahrsfeier aufgenommen und sogar unseren Kindern Geschenke überreicht. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Zu empfehlen ist auch die kleine geführte Wanderung zum Wasserfall, bei der man die Naturverbundenheit spürt. Ein perfekter Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und Natur zu genießen. I had a pleasant stay at this well-maintained property. The space was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, making for a relaxing experience. The host was responsive, and the overall ambiance was great. However, I believe bath accessories could be improved to enhance the experience further. With a few upgrades or adjustments, this place could be perfect. Would still recommend it for a comfortable stay!

What a lovely place to stay to get away from it all! Beautiful view from the balcony. We really enjoyed watching the mist roll over the hills. Fernando was a great host - very responsive, and picked us delicious bananas and avocados from his garden!

Eine Unterkunft mitten im Dschungel, die Lage ist perfekt – abgeschieden und ruhig, aber trotzdem in nur 20 Minuten im Zentrum. Der Host vermittelt aber auch Tuk Tuk fahrten bzw Scooter. Kaum Moskitos, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht. Das Frühstück war köstlich, aber das absolute Highlight war das Abendessen! Wir haben uns jeden Tag darauf gefreut – mit viel Liebe zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend und einfach ein Genuss. Zudem war es immer eine Freude, mit dem Gastgeber zu plaudern und spannende Einblicke zu bekommen.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

The view from this place is absolutely spectacular, even at night when you can see the illuminated Buddhist temple opposite the balcony. The house is well-equipped with everything you need. The personnel is extremely helpful and will help you with everything from breakfast to dinner and laundry service as well as sightseeing advice.

This was by far one of the most beautiful airbnbs I have been to! The staff were incredibly helpful and the house itself was gorgeous. Thank you and I hope to be back again!

Nous avons passé un très bon moment … c’est un endroit unique avec une vue à couper le souffle. Nous avons déguster un merveilleux dîner que la famille nous a concocté ainsi qu’un très bon petit déjeuner où les fruits colorés et sucrés étaient savoureux … bref une belle expérience à renouveler un jour ;-)

The villa is designed in an old British style with complementing interiors (chandeliers, fire place etc.), with all modern facilities. It had a well equipped kitchen and a huge bathroom overlooking the forest and tea garden. The overall condition of the villa was superior. Facility manager - Mr. Nalin, ensured that we were comfortable and helped us plan our itinerary during our stay. Our family is vegetarian so he ensured that the food we wanted was ordered from the Indian restaurant in the market and delivered to our villa. We got the breakfast of our choice and quite tasty. My son is a special child so we had a bit of a problem in his mobility. Hence, he arranged a tuk tuk for us which took us wherever we wanted to go and dropped us back as per our convenience. We look forward to visiting Luxe Wilderness again and this time with our extended family if time permits...

It’s hard to believe this charming bungalow is 144 years old, thanks to Rajiv’s meticulous upkeep while preserving its colonial charm in every corner. Ideally located in Nuwara Eliya, it’s a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind. The hospitality was exceptional—caretakers Lasantha, Pradeep, and the team went above and beyond, from welcoming us with tea to preparing amazing dinners. They even let me join in and cook, which I thoroughly enjoyed! A special thanks to Rajiv for personally staying an extra hour to greet us and give us a tour of the property before leaving. Highly recommend this beautiful place for an unforgettable getaway!

Our stay at Croft Cottage was nothing short of amazing! The location is ideal—private, peaceful, and offering breathtaking views, yet still providing easy access to many must-visit sites. We loved being able to walk to the nearby Kovil and enjoyed a scenic drive to Horton Plains, where we were lucky enough to spot leopards. A stop at Jagro for fresh strawberries made the journey even sweeter! The house itself is spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with modern amenities, making it perfect for families. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape or a fun board game night with loved ones, this place has it all. The staff were outstanding—polite, attentive, and always ensuring our comfort. Additionally, the host was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend Croft Cottage for anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway in Little England. We can definitely see ourselves coming back to Croft Cottage again in the near future!
