The Wheelhouse Inn - CROW'S NEST

The Crow's Nest is a standalone unit situated at the top of the property. It is the most spacious of our 5 accommodations with the biggest views. Every room has spectacular views over Tasman Bay to the ranges in the west. The Crow's Nest has 2 bedrooms ... the master with a king bed and the second bedroom with 2 singles. There is also a double pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, stove, fridge, microwave, tea, coffee, sugar and a full range of crockery and cutlery. From there you can move to the dining room or out on to the spacious balcony which has a bbq and outdoor seating for casual dining. The lounge has a flat screen tv, dvd and there is Free WIFI. The bathroom is upstairs with the master bedroom and has a shower, toilet and also a washing machine and dryer. Free parking is directly outside your accommodation and the whole unit is surrounded by native bush.

Located in a quiet rural setting along side the Kahurangi National Park, with beach access just over the road this is a great spot to base yourself for Golden Bay's adventures or relax with a book for a picnic on the beach. Its a short walk to the café and shops and all sorts of options around for activities including: kayaking, beach biking, a variety of hikes, fishing, swimming, caving and rock climbing. This unit is on the ground floor of our home. We live upstairs with our 2 children.

Modern architectural kiwi bach nestled on the edge of a tidal lagoon between Ligar Bay and Tata Beach. The Bach is a compact 55sqm with a large sheltered and covered deck with all day sun. A master bedroom links on to a compact lounge & ensuite bathroom, dining & kitchen area from either side all with full views of the water & lagoon. There is a seperate sleeping pod with a Queen size bed 2 metres from main dwelling for an extra 2 guests. Amazing second Hot outdoor shower under the trees.

This well crafted stone cottage is close to beautiful Golden Bay bush walks, old historic gold workings, lonely beaches, the Mussel Inn, swimming holes and much more. The host's partner has developed an extensive network of tracks , some easy walks and some more challenging, with great views of the bay.

Split Apple Beaches & Bays Marahau

Cath and Al are kiwi locals having been born and brought up in this area and lived here all our lives. We are happy to give guests advice on where to visit and what to see. Our accommodation is located in a quiet peaceful location with bush and native birdsong on a ridge. There are breathtaking views across Sandy Bay, Marahau and Abel Tasman National Park from the apartment.

Te Whare o Kea provides simple shelter for trampers, bikers and other nature lovers. The location also makes it perfect for a retreat. A non profit social enterprise and a Gold Kea Sponsor, guest stays have enabled over $20,000 worth of donations to the Kea Conservation Trust. It also supports monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline.
