Little Halcyon is located in the Anchorage area, West Mersea. Just a short stroll from the beach, local pubs, restaurants and the village. It is a cosy, self contained, newly renovated annexe in 2021 with it's own private entrance and off street parking. Inside you have a sitting room with a sofa, dining table and a Smart TV. The kitchen area has a hob, combi microwave, kettle, toaster and full sized fridge. It has a separate bedroom with a King size bed and a bathroom with a walk in shower.

The Snug is self-contained, connected to our family home & 7-10 minutes walk to the beautiful Market Square with plentiful pubs, eateries, & twice weekly market. Our aim is to provide quality, homely, affordable accommodation & base to explore from. Styled on a hotel room suite, rather than self catering, The Snug has 2 “off road” private parking spaces, King Size bed, separate sofa bed sitting area, mini fridge, tea, coffee, hot chocolate & fresh milk, & large shower / bathroom. (not in view of each other) A beautiful little annex with its own access and garden. Located 150m off the A134, opposite Nowton park, and only 1.5 miles from the town centre. With approx 200m of river frontage and a good sized field and garden . The Annex has a large bedroom with kingsize bed, kitchen, wet room/WC and a small but comfortable living room.

The annex is a lovely relaxing place to stay. Accessed by the main front door one then enters one's own private space. Recently converted it offers a fantastic double room. It is very light and airy. Fully heated so nice and cosy. There is a television with sky and wifi, table and chairs and basin. Downstairs there is a bathroom, with heated towel rail and luxury bath with hand held shower. twin room downstairs next to the bathroom. NO ACTUAL KITCHEN!! fridge, toaster, kettle

Edies Retreat - ideal for a staycation

Edies retreat is a comfortable, self contained studio apartment, set in a small hamlet of houses at the end of a lane adjacent to a farmers field and apple orchard, on the edge of Dedham Vale AONB. Perfect for relaxing or a more active holiday. Walking, cycling and canoeing can all be enjoyed locally. There are plenty of fascinating local villages and towns to visit if history is your thing. We can suggest various itineraries for you and help you arrange your chosen activities.

Tucked away but within a short walk of the market hill and Framlingham Castle yet only 25 minute drive from the coast. Our recently converted ground floor annexe has a Retro-Scandinavian feel comprising double bedroom with en-suite shower room and living area with sofabed and bespoke fitted kitchen. Guests will have use of part of the south facing garden and parking for one vehicle is in a shared driveway.
