David's place is definitely the perfect stop for those visiting Belfast on a budget. David is very welcoming and flexible with check in and questions. Lots of local recommendations. You are a guest in the family home so as long as you are comfortable with that, the place is still private, with the room and attached bathroom upstairs apart from the rest of the home. It's fairly quiet considering there's a family there, you do hear children and whatnot in the mornings but nothing too crazy. You feel safe and welcome. The room is neat and tidy and the croissants and treats a nice touch. Free street parking and a £8 Uber to downtown, at less than half the price of the hotels in the city it's a great option.

We had such a wonderful stay. My husband a i really loved the hot tub underneath the stars. It was so relaxing to use each night after our 9 month went to sleep. I also really liked the large tub in the bathroom that made for relaxing soaks each day, especially while hearing faint sounds of seagulls and wind blowing through the trees outside. Our 9 month old loved the living room and climbing around our bed in the bedroom. Alex even had a crib for us! Our continental breakfast was also a really nice touch. And, Alex put up happy birthday banner and balloons before we arrived since it was my birthday weekend. It was a lovely surprise! Highly recommend staying here if you get a chance.

Patricia was so helpful and kind during my stay! She provided a map of the city, easy transportation instructions, and recommended some local spots to check out. Really enjoyed my comfortable stay and our kitchen chats :)

Had just a single nights stay for work nearby but the perfect place to lay my head! Quiet, comfortable and had everything I needed. Great communication with Jamie the host, easy check-in and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if working nearby.

Karen was the perfect host. My son and I enjoyed a very comfortable night in her lovely house. Karen made us feel right at home and provided everything we could have wished for including a delicious breakfast - the stewed plums were amazing! Since we were doing the 'five ferries' cycle route, we underestimated how long it would take us to get to Tarbert next morning and only just made it - but that was down to our own ignorance of the time it would take to cycle six undulating Kintyre miles! (Cyclists take note). I would return to Karen's place in a heartbeat and one day hope to do so.

Our second stay at Joe’s property was as great as our first. The house is incredibly well equipped and furnished. We are a family of 5 and the house was a prefect size for us all. We really do feel it is a home rather than just accommodation. Joe is always reachable and happy to help. Many thanks to Joe once again for making our stay so welcoming and comfortable (the Christmas tree was a lovely touch!)

Stunning home but the views are the main attraction! Brenda helped me have the most stunning small family wedding and the photos I have are gorgeous. My family loved each of their rooms they are really modern and the beds nice and firm. Thank you Brenda!

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Excellent and roomy apartment directly across from Edinburgh Castle - good location for accessing all the central points in Edinburgh. Location was on the western end of the Royal Mile - easy to get to the center of town but far enough away to not have too much noise from the street at nights. Comfortable beds, immaculate cleaning, and friendly check in. Thank you, Emily, for hosting us.

Great stay and location. Easy to recommend and will be an amazing base to visit the various parks and tourist spots in the surrounding local area.

I booked this stay on behalf of my wife and friends as they were attending a wedding nearby. They couldn’t have been happier with the property. It was spotlessly clean and had everything they needed. Margaret provided some bread, jam, tea & coffee and milk which was a nice touch. They also loved the big map that people had pinned where they had come from. Margaret was a great host when it came to communication before and during the stay and was always prompt to reply to messages. She gave me lots of clear instructions to pass on. We would definitely recommend Margaret’s property to stay at if you were looking for some where in that area.

Thank you Johanna for such a wonderful stay. All of the instructions (with pictures!) Really ensured a smooth and easy check in and clear instructions also left for us in the flat. The flat is in a nice quiet area but still easily walkable from the city centre. We walked from Waverley and stopped at a lovely pub for tea halfway there. Very clean and spacious and the milk/cereals/nepresso were really appreciated. The main reason I booked was due to the 2 bathrooms, as with 2 couples this was ideal and meant getting ready for a day round Edinburgh was streamlined! The king bed was extremely comfy and I am assured the double was as well. We had breakfast one day at the Spoons round the corner and Sunday we ordered a breakfast delivery from Dine Thyme (would recommend for ease and good Scottish items). I would not hesistate to stay again and would recommend to family and friends.

A great wee flat to explore the surrounding region from. Also appreciated that the stuff we were likely to forget (milk, bread, butter, etc) were all in the kitchen!

Thoroughly enjoyed my two-week stay. Jennet was the consummate host: Friendly and attentive, with breakfast in the morning. Beautiful flat within easy walking distance of downtown Edinburgh. It was lovely to meet Alice and David and to spend time with them round the breakfast table. They are sensitive to people's need for privacy but are also present for help or a chat. Received excellent recommendations from them. The place itself is very homely and clean, with beautiful surroundings. On occasion we returned to our room during the day to take shelter from the rain and rest; it was a very welcoming and private space. A perfect AirBnB experience.

Alda was friendly and helpful. She provided delicious breakfasts, and was willing to accommodate our dietary preferences. The location was great, on a quiet street just a short walk to the center of town with easy access to shops, restaurants and the lakeside.

Strone Farm was up a long private track and a gorgeous location for adventurers. Jain was responsive, flexible, and welcoming, and made our stay warm and homey. The homebaked goods with cream and jam were such a treat!! We wish we could have stayed longer.

We truly enjoyed staying here at the farm. Sheila was there to great us right when we pulled up and made checking in very simple. The property was gorgeous. The actual house was very spacious and she had breakfast and snacks available. We loved hearing all the animals on the farm (cows and sheep). It’s a little further out from town but private and peaceful. Would definitely recommend to get a traditional Scottish experience. Thank you Sheila!

Had an absolutely restorative two nights with Jennifer. Such a fantastic location near the Kerrera ferry. Stunning breakfast views and porridge in the morning! Absolute 15/10 stay.

Anne nous a réservé un très bon accueil à notre arrivée (polie, le sourire et quelques mots de français). Sa petite maison est charmante, avec en prime des attentions pour ses locataires (pain frais, confiture, beurre, fromage...). J'étais un peu effrayé par la circulation pour sortir et entrer dans la propriété. Mais comme les écossais sont beaucoup plus courtois et patients au volant que les français : tout s'est bien passé 😅. Un dernier mot pour préciser que le logement était super propre.
