This charming, central, quirky cottage is a short walk from seafront, pier, supermarket and restaurants. Space was bigger than expected with plenty of room for 4 adults. Minor issue with slats not closing over skylight in one bedroom fixed immediately. Lots of pots and pans, good cooking facilities, but you need to bring your own condiments as not provided. Sofa verrry comfy... and luggage could be left next door on day of check-out. All in a a great stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at this vacation rental in Huntington Beach! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and local shops. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The host was responsive, welcoming, and made the whole process super easy from start to finish. We especially loved enjoying our mornings on the patio with coffee and our evenings with the ocean breeze. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for the perfect beach escape—we’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here for a long weekend and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect—close to everything and easy to walk wherever we needed to go. The house had a relaxing vibe, and it was so nice to have the option to grill instead of eating out for every meal. The rooms and beds were really comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day exploring Catalina. The realtor gave us great directions over the phone, which made finding the house super easy, and the owner was very accommodating with our ferry schedule for both arrival and departure. We really appreciated that flexibility. All in all, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Overall very happy. This Condo had all the comforts of home. Having The Golf Cart made all the difference. Would highly recommend and stay again.

The place was amazing, with breathtaking views. The check in was easy and simple, and the place was clean. The golf cart was a great plus and super helpful with getting around the island. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Messa and Rosey were wonderful hosts! We loved our stay, everything we needed was walking distance. Our stay was pleasant, great views, comfortable beds. We will definitely come back and hopefully it’s available.

Recently my family and I spent the weekend at the House on the Hill, and it was a delightful experience. The home is charmingly decorated, clean, and feels like a home away from home. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the scenic waterfront and some great local restaurants, yet tucked away in a quiet part of Avalon that offered plenty of peace. The golf cart provided with the home also was very handy in getting around the town. I would highly recommend House on the Hill to anyone looking for a memorable getaway on Catalina Island.

We stayed in town for a wedding. The walk from the ferry to the house is the only issue. The last 1/4 mile or so is up a steep hill but not terrible. Once at the property you have a panoramic view of the harbor and a beautiful patio for the kids to play on. Inside was clean and well maintained. Would recommend staying here
