Au Sable River Getaway

One mile from the Mason Wilderness Tract, view eagles, deer and other wildlife out the front door, relax beside the peaceful South Branch of the Au Sable, a trout stream (catch and release, please), hunt in fall, enjoy cross-country skiing at several nearby trails including the 12-mile-long Mason Tract Trail, ski rentals, lessons and trails nearby. This 1904 home has been loved by our family for more than 40 years. It's been renovated with a fun mixture of farmhouse, vintage, and whimsical vibes to welcome guests. The upstairs is open and spacious with a tricky old staircase...please use caution! The downstairs has a small but fully functional kitchen, living area has a cozy electric fireplace, and the bathroom is sparkling clean.
