Welcome to our yurt-The Fireweed. Nestled in beautiful Port Rexton, our yurt puts you close to nature, much like a tent, but with a more comfortable stay and an amazing view of the night sky through the toono! We are within walking distance to the Skerwink Trail, Port Rexton Brewery, Two Whales Cafe and Fisher's Loft. Our location is perfect for exploring and discovering all the Bonavista Peninsula has to offer including hiking trails, boat tours, puffin viewing and amazing breathtaking scenery.

Beachfront Yurt...Just you and the Beach!

Ideal Couples retreat or time for personal reflection! Experience the magic of yurt living surrounded by miles of unspoiled beach. Wade in tidal pools enjoying some of the warmest waters north of the Carolina's, hunt for sea glass and beach treasures, nap in the hammock, read a book from the on site library. Enjoy your personal thermal experience with the outdoor sauna, shower and/or a dip in the sea. An extensive selection of music and board games, it's about you and letting time drift by.

Pine Yurt

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in one of our luxury, glamping yurts. Our yurts are the perfect balance between rustic and modern, with our custom made log beds, wood fire place, wifi internet, electricity, and mini kitchenettes. This yurt has a queen bed. All bedding and towels are included, as well as outdoor fire pit. PLEASE NOTE: YURTS MUST BE BOOKED BY NOON ON THE SAME DAY AS ARRIVAL. Please reach out directly if you want to book after 12pm on the same day as arrival.

Old Acadia Ranger Yurt at Long Pond

Newly Constructed. Old Acadia Ranger Yurt, a 25 ft. Yurt nestled in the pine and maple forest 1/4 mile from Long Pond and Acadia National Park hiking trails. New construction includes a full bath with a large walk-in shower, kitchen with gas stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dinette table w/ seating. Bedding includes, 1 Queen sized bed, 1-fold down double couch, Queen bed in loft, and 1 rollaway cot. Towels and bedding provided. Four (4) guests only (no exceptions). Pets are not permitted.

Katahdin Riverfront Yurt

Glamping at its best! Beautiful custom built yurt on the banks of the Penobscot river along the Grindstone Scenic Byway. Close to Baxter State Park and majestic Mount Katahdin as well as Katahdin Woods and Waters National Park. Two miles to Penobscot River Trails with miles of groomed cross country skiing and mountain biking. 4 seasons of hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, skiing, and miles and miles of snowmobiling! 1 hour to Bangor 2 hours to Bar Harbor

Farmstay Yurt

A simple cozy accommodation on an 30 acre off grid farm in Blockhouse. We are a walk from a large trail system where you can easily walk to the local organic cafe: Chicory Blue for a wholesome breakfast or lunch. This 20'' yurt is set right next to a flowing creek with its own modest kitchenette including small propane oven and a solar fridge. The farm is home to 1 horse, pony, 10 sheep, 2 peacocks, Angora bunnies, chickens, kunekune pigs, goats and a large greenhouse and vegetable garden.

Fox’s Hollow at The Howling Woods

Our Yurt is hand made. Every log was peeled and split to create the initial lattice work. The inside is sheethed in thin plywood & painted which gives it a more homey feel than a typical rubbery tarp covered yurt. :) There is a large domed skylight at the center to let in the sunlight. You can also crank open the hexagon window to let in fresh air. Inside you’ll find a lofted double bed & extra blankets & a futon mattress for larger parties. The kitchenette is great for basic cooking.

Summer season open from (May 8 - Oct 31, 2026) and Winter Season (Jan-April weekends only). We offer one night stays! Enjoy this secluded off grid (solar powered) cosy yurt, eclectic furnishings - situated in a private forest environment. On the deck a BBQ with cooking utensils and patio set are provided in summer - no water during winter season (Nov-April 30) - a small chemical toilet is provided. Enjoy the comfortable simplicity and relax in nature; sauna service available 50$.

Hike-in off-grid Yurt on top of Maine Mt. w/Kayaks

Welcome mountain climbers, pilgrims and nature revelers! Hike-in to your fully outfitted off grid yurt and stay the night on a mountain top enjoying magnificent southerly views with a bonfire and watching the stars put on a show. Bring your sleeping bag, linens, food, and musical instruments to begin your incredible Maine adventure. The mountain is waiting, get on your way! Mountain report: blueberries are starting to ripen. Get them while they are plump and blue.

Coastal Comfort Yurt

Get cozy and settle in to this rustic space. The Yurt is technically off-grid, but we do have wifi ! The yurt is heated by a wood stove where you can enjoy the ambience through the glass door. The stove keeps the yurt very nice and warm, even on cold winter nights. A kitchenette allows the basics needed. There is a comfortable queen sized bed and even a hammock for lounging in! Unwind in this glamping experience while being close to all lunenburg has to offer.

Secluded yurt on the river, 7 mins to Baddeck

Meet Orange Sunshine - your own secluded yurt, right on the river. Soak in the boho vibe, enjoy a candle lit dinner made in your own kitchenette, and cozy up by the glow of the wood stove in a comfy queen bed. Complete with outdoor shower, private fire pit & outhouse. Only 7 mins to Baddeck. Walk 5 mins down a groomed trail to this incredible off-grid experience. There’s no electricity, so prepare to unplug!
