Plenty of space for relaxing, picnics, or watching the deer, turkeys, birds, and squirrels. I welcome you to Seven Oaks Cabin. It is a place of well-being for individuals who like to connect with nature while staying in a primitive cabin away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The interior consists of a variety of wood-eastern white pine, cedar and cherry. The living area has furniture made by local Amish, septic system for flush toilet, instant hot water, small bedroom with bunk bed (full mattress on bottom/ twin on top), efficiency kitchen, and loft with queen mattress.

The Retreat at Fox Lake

The retreat at Fox Lake is a newly constructed 1+ bedroom house featuring a private back deck and hot tub! This home has a bedroom with a king-sized bed and an additional room with a fold-out futon. Features include eclectic art, reclaimed materials, glass enclosed gas fireplace, Starlink high speed wifi, on-site parking and direct access to Fox Lake and more! This is the perfect retreat for a couple, a few friends or small family. The vibe is earthy, textured, cozy and modern.

Yellow Dog Barndominium

Our brand new barndominium is a 10 minute drive from Ohio University, yet sits on a 100+ acres in the country. You will find it located near the front of the property, feet away from a 16 acre private water ski lake with beautiful sunset views. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing and swimming during their stay. We designed this as a couples retreat, including a 4 person hot tub, but a second bedroom with a full bed and twin trundle can accommodate friends or family who may join you.

Welcome to the Butterfly Yurt! This beautiful yurt is nestled on 6 acres of land with your very own private hiking trails throughout the property. Located inside Wayne National Forest this property is perfect for nature lovers, a group of friends or a romantic getaway. Experience all that nature has to offer while waking up to the sound of birds chirping or soaking in the hot tub. This property provides a unique nature inspired getaway while offering all the modern conveniences.

Country Getaway

Short drive on the highway from Athens, OH (15 minutes) and Parkersburg, WV(35 minutes). Detached studio apartment located on 25 acres with access to almost 300 acres for walking and fishing(catch and release). Studio apartment has a full kitchen and bathroom, two bed nooks, a chair, and table with four barstools. The space is heated using radiant floor during cool weather and during warm weather cooled by a window unit AC. Owners live about 30ft from rental on the property.

Cozy "Studio B" Apartment Near It All

All new- Studio B located upstairs in historic farmhouse repurposed into two separate studio apartments. Enjoy a stylish, comfortable experience with all modern conveniences, including a porch swing. Perfect for a couple or one person visiting for work, events, family or enjoying walking, hiking, biking in nearby State Parks.

PaPa Cabin

“Spring” at PaPa Cabin be prepared for a different experience. This little house, perched on a cliff, is off the grid, surrounded by forest. A quarter mile walk through the woods leads to the cabin. Bedroom sleeps two on the comfy bed. With only 12 volt (like your car) solar electricity, gas heat, some 12v fans (no AC) it will be an adventure! In the kitchenette, guests will find a propane range top, a fridge, and cooking utensils, bottled water, outside a charcoal grill.

Camp Forever Cabin West

Escape to the rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio at Camp Forever! Our property is located in the countryside, perfect for a peaceful getaway. We offer amenities such as a hot tub, fire pit and lots of games! Camp Forever has a primary bedroom and lofted beds upstairs. Please note that there is another cabin 67 ft apart. Camp Forever is 20 minutes from Ohio University, and a Short 5 minute drive to 2 Wineries! We love pets and insist you bring them along for your stay.
