What an amazing view as you walk around the corner of the house. It's a little peace of paradise right here. The cottage was spotless. The location was perfect. The walkway from the road to the cottage could use a little work, more stairs needed I think. But overall the place is perfect for a relaxing getaway in the fall. Thanks for your hospitality., till the next time.

Sean is the perfect host, he went above and beyond for our stay. Trailer was beautiful and an awesome location. Would definately go back and recommend to friends.

I’m hesitant to give a 5 star review, only because we would love to keep this cabin hidden for ourselves every winter. We were on an annual snowmobile trip. We ride Park and Nelson all the time. It was great not having to drive home every night to the kelowna area. We rode our sleds right from the driveway. The trail fee guy was a few hundred feet up the road. Cabin was exactly what you should expect. Clean, neat and the owners were incredibly accommodating. We would park our sleds, hop in the hot tub and relax with beers and cook great dinners overlooking the lake. What else can you ask for.

Alanna, Thanks so much for letting us stay Redfish Lakehouse. Our family of 5 plus our Lab had a fantastic time. Lots of swimming and lake activities! Just what we were planning. We had a number of great dog walks by the Kokoanee spawning channels and spent lots of time watching the eagles, osprey, herons and turkey vultures set up shop on the beach. The beach was perfect, a couple of sandbars keep the boats away and make for a mostly sandy walk out to the deeper water. Great for kids and tired dogs! You are a pro - we had everything we needed inside and out - ice maker, Smart TV, extra lawn chairs, beach chairs, beach toys, table games, giant jenga and the dog towel! The deck was definitely a favourite. Lots of room and the afternoon shade was heaven sent at times! We look forward to staying again someday! Tammy & Greg

This was a perfect place to stay for our week away. We had 2 dogs with us who loved the water. The hosts were extremely accommodating and we felt right at home. The place was immaculately clean, and we had everything we could have needed for a beach vacation.

Dan’s place is truly one-of-a-kind. Mike (our host during our stay) was beyond helpful and friendly. He made our stay a great experience, and something we would look forward to doing again.

Our FAVORITE place for R & R! This is our 3rd time staying at Alex’s place. We LOVE everything about our stay each time…Gorgeous atmosphere, serene surroundings, a suite that looks onto the lake, comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen, yummy restaurants in town and the kindest and most helpful hosts. We love seeing Alex and his family each time we visit. We are already looking forward to coming back in May. Thank you so much for another awesome stay!

We had a lovely stay! The place exceeded our expectations and was a great spot for my husband, young daughter, and I while we spent a few quiet days in Kaslo in March. The kitchen is simple but clean and well supplied. The living room is cozy and a great spot to hang out. It was an awesome location and very walkable to everything in town!

The studio is beautiful. It’s lovely and cool on a hot summer day and made me feel very calm. We wanted to relax and cook and enjoy some beach and lake activities and we got just that! The location is ideally situated very close to town but on the ‘quiet’ side of the lake. The hosts were great.

We enjoyed every minute. Booked this property solely for the waterfront access to the lake, but was so much more. Very well organized, beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Darrell & Lana are so very accommodating, and great at what they do. Thank you again.

The cottage is full of charm and character. Looked exactly like the pictures. Spotlessly clean. Many thoughtful touches including blankets to keep warm while reading a favorite book to fresh flowers on the table. Unbeatable view from the deck. We loved the access to the paved walking path that took us right into town. we were able to easily walk and pick up a few groceries. Also enjoyed a few meals at recommended restaurants in the welcome book and all were fantastic. Pride is evident all over with many original structures that have been upgraded and well cared for, the scenery in the area from the lakes to the variety of trees and flowers is simply amazing. The Cottage is a perfect place to stay amongst this friendly community to feel right at home during your stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the yurt and loved the surroundings - the river is gorgeous for a swim and the flowers that Hummingbird Farm produce are absolutely glorious. There was more space than we anticipated with a newly screened in eating area on the deck. Brad took our booking very last minute as our plans had changed and it was the long weekend - super accommodating. Recommended!

This place is great. It’s clean, comfortable, well stocked, well organized, and Sydney was friendly and flexible. The view is wonderful. The covered porch, yard, fire pit, and beach are all awesome. Our kids loved the books and toys. There’s plenty to do in the region. It’s peaceful and quiet. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back one day.

Great location, close to town. On the water. Incredible views! Comfortable beds, lots of room. Beautifully designed and decorated. Could use fresh pans and needs a new BBQ (basically unusable) limited our cooking options.

Our two families totaling 10 people felt so comfortable in Staci's beautiful and spacious chalet. There was ample room inside for us to spread out but we also appreciated being able to all get together in either of the two living areas for board games and movies. There are various areas outside to relax whether it's at the beach enjoying the sun, sand and eagles or on the grass with a propane fire, a game of Bocce Ball and watching the local turkeys. Our beds were comfortable the house was very clean and well equipped for our 5 day stay. Staci was kind and quick to respond to all of my questions before and during our stay and checked in with us to see how things were going. I would not hesitate to recommend Staci's chalet and we hope to return next year!

It’s one of the best vacations if not the best vacation that we have ever had with our family. To the fishing off our private dock, kayaking, campfires. It all combined for a great holiday and fun was had by all. Margaret and Boyd are fabulous hosts. They went over and above to make sure we had a good time. The accommodations were great and the most equipped house we have ever rented. All you need is your clothes, food and a toothbrush and you are good to go. What a wonderful stay! Everything that my friends and I were looking for while having a relaxing time in Nelson. The location is great as well because it’s right between Nelson and the Hot Springs. Bonnie was a wonderful host. We were already talking about the next time that we will come back before we even left. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit at Ken’s place and we were really happy to be there. There were 10 of us - three generations, our grandchildren are between 12 and 18. The house was very spacious and everybody had the privacy if needed but most of the time we spent evenings playing games in a large living room with a spectacular view of the lake and the mountains. Ken’s place is quite secluded and serene. The dock, which was great to just relax at or to just hold all our paddleboards, kayaks and inflatable toys, is just a three-minute walk from the house. If you like nature, water and privacy we absolutely recommend.

We spent three days at this stunning lakeside house, enjoying the natural beauty and complete peace & solitude. Given the warm, sunny late April weather, we were able to take advantage of the outside dining table, lovely sitting areas, and the hot tub. Pure bliss! Inside, the decor is very tasteful, the beds & sofa are super comfy, and the kitchen is well equipped. We all agreed that we will be back!!
