A cosy hideaway in the hills

Unwind at this peaceful oasis in the hills of Argyll in the Trossachs national park. Our converted barn has a twin bedroom downstairs & double room on the open mezzanine above an open-plan living kitchen area. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower, as well as a washing machine and a tumble drier. Access to the adjacent forestry road is via a car park 100m north along the roadside. This offers extensive walking routes, including to the Benmore Botanic Garden, Pucks Glen & The Coylet.

Tom’s House - peace, quiet and wildlife - in Oban!

Tom’s House is set in a large leafy garden, a 6 minute walk to Oban town centre. Private and peaceful in the garden of Terok Nor. Red squirrels, woodpeckers and roe deer - with fawn at foot are regular visitors at present. Parking on site is spacious. There is so much to do in the Oban area, ferries, castles, whales, dolphins, puffins, walking, beaches, watching .....great food - exceptional sea food and the oldest distillery in Scotland, wonderful whisky - what more can you ask?

Springwell cottage has been recently renovated. Centrally heated with living room underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. Can sleep 4 adults and 2 infants or 2 adults and 2 children. We accept a max of 2 well behaved dogs no larger than a Labrador. Separate garden for guests use. Safe little beach and swings just across the road . Start of the Goatfell path 5 min walk away. Forest Hill, Benderloch near Oban

Spacious and comfy 3 bedroom (NB one king, one double, two single beds) house in a small village, 2 bathrooms, garden, perfect for a relaxing family holiday! Interesting local hikes, close to many beauty spots and attractions, 15 minute drive to the busy town of Oban, 45 minute drive to Fort William. There is a cycle track just across the road which goes almost all the way to Ballahulish (9 miles from Fort William).
