Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful scenery and cozy cabin. We had all the amenities we needed. The host was friendly, helpful and always responsive. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend

This was the perfect little spot for a short weekend getaway! Felt like we were in another universe! Perfect!

There was an issue with the water well. The maintenance guys were there within the hour to resolve the problem. Which wound up being an issue with the pump itself. The well company was very prompt and fixed the problem. To have them pull a well, on Saturday before Easter Sunday, on short notice, was impressive. I would recommend this stay to anyone. Thank you

They were extremely responsive, kind, and helpful. When we needed to extend our stay they were right on top of it. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing. It was a perfect spot to watch the stars. We'd love to return sometime.

My partner and I came for a long weekend getaway and it was perfect! The lake was beautiful, Lesley and the lodge staff were very friendly, and the hot tub was so nice to have access to. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking another stay at least once a year if not more. Thank you! 😊

The weekend we went had more rain then they had ever had, causing roads to be flood or washed out and closed from the flash floods- all which was beyond their control. While on the road leading to the cabin, we came to spot that appeared to be washed out and were hesitant to continue forward. We then saw headlights coming down the drive and was greeted by a nice young man who helped us to continue to the cabin. The electric was also out (again not their fault) due to the storm and we were provided with extra flash lights and water. Any concerns we had were quickly responded to and the cabin was beautiful, clean and just perfect. The electric came back on the following afternoon and although the main road out was closed (flash flooding) it was reopened by check out, again all of this beyond their control. I would absolutely recommend this place for a quiet romantic getaway or a family vacation. They have cabins and other housing of all size to accommodate everyone

We highly recommend this cabin. Pictures are very accurate, looks exactly like the listing. Nice private location in the woods. New and modern inside, clean and well maintained. Lots of little amenities, like smores kit, salt and pepper, coffee, plenty of towels and TP - stuff that many airbnb's skip. The host is very responsive, quick to message back, provides all needed info. Hottub and movie theater are really unique, and work great. We watched a couple movies at night in the hottub. Not really close to stores and restaurants, but that's what we wanted. However, there is civilization within 10 miles or so.

This place is amazing! Christina was so kind. She had Easter eggs for the kids hid through the air b and b! She had bacon eggs and snacks for us, which was appreciated so much! We went geode hunting, pet and feed the horses and goats. The cabin was clean and so cool! Extra spacious, stocked with everything you need, tons of board games, lots of towels and the beds were comfy! We traveled a little distance to go to elephant state park and Johnston Shut in's, so while it's peaceful, it's a short drive to a lot of neat stuff. I feel greatful to be able to stay somewhere so amazing with my kiddos! They loved every minute of it!

My daughter and I just needed some peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. The cabin was so nice altho we spent most of out time on the deck overlooking the water and wooded area. Lots of great places to eat. We traveled the few miles to Cuba, Mo to eat, go to Walmart, and go to the antique malls. There is a nice little place to eat in Leasburg called Skippy's and the food is great and staff so friendly. There is also a Dollar Market in Leasburg that has anything you might need. We stayed a week but could have stayed there forever!! We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to just get away and decompress.

Wonder place. Very peaceful and hidden. The drive to the cabin makes you feel remote but there is a store is like 20 mins from the cabin if you need something. I would recommend an suv or truck to get there but not required. We got to meet the host and he is very friendly. He was working on the property but didn’t bother us at all. Very peaceful not noise but birds. The cabin was very clean and brand new. WiFi worked great and the fire pit is awesome. They had some wood for you to buy so you don’t have to run to the store. Super helpful. I definitely would stay again if we are In the area.

Loved our little getaway to the woods, what a great place to disconnect from the busyness of life in a city.

AWESOME people and place, some of the amenities weren’t ready to use but as far as the cabin that you stay in and the owners were incredible! Great location if you’re doing anything in Advance. They went the extra mile to accommodate traveling duck hunters. Will definitely stay again when I’m in Advance!

We loved our stay. The privacy, the closeness to caves and streams, and the ease of our stay made it a great time. My one concern is that we didn’t understand the different levels of the house that resulted in steps up and down between areas. That was doable for us but could make a stay difficult for others. I have no hesitation staying there again but it is a consideration if you have mobility issues. Thank you for your hospitality!

I’m glad we stayed at one of Linda’s cabins. She’s an excellent host! We originally rented side A, but I realized after booking that it didn’t have a kitchen, and we planned on cooking most of the 5 nights we were there. She so graciously switched us to side B! The farm is SO beautiful, and thankfully the rain cleared away long enough for my daughter and I to walk one of the trails — even though we had to work around some giant puddles. 😆 It’s seriously so gorgeous! This particular listing is a cabin with 2 sides rented out, and the walls are PAPER thin, so just be aware of that! Definitely no fault to the host, but we could hear a lot of movement next door. I’m sure they could hear us too, though we tried hard to keep our 4-year old contained while indoors. Haha! THANK YOU, Linda! We’d love to come back when the weather is warmer and dryer. Personally, we would choose a single cabin next time, just for a little more space and less stress about our daughter’s crazy activeness. 🤭

This is our 3rd stay at Jenna's place because we love the disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the busy towns so much. Jenna and her whole family are absolutely lovely every time we interact. They are more than happy to talk and show my kids neat things about the farm if we happen to run into them while walking the property. When the kids come back with scraped knees dirty hands and smiles on their faces it fills my heart to see some normalcy in the world again.

Was even better then expected! Peaceful, plenty of activities to get into. Very accommodating with an amazing staff. I will definitely be back.

Great communication, extremely accommodating and such a beautiful property!

It was a great little cabin for our weeks stay during deer season. It was nice to be able to cook some food and have a hot shower every evening. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. It would also be a great place for a family to stay when visiting the lake.

We really appreciated the clear directions on how to get to the location, which is a little tricky to see in the dark. The location and view from the porch is beautiful! I wish it wouldn’t have been raining and we had more time to explore. Would definitely stay again :)

This was one of the best Airbnbs I ever been in. Very nice and new with great character. A beautiful pond with fire pit and the house was super well decorated. The host was super nice and accommodating. Will be back for sure!

Posey‘s Place was absolutely stunning. The pictures don’t do justice, as far as how much more beautiful it is in person! The family and I had a very fun and relaxing holiday weekend. If you were looking for something extremely cozy and secluded like a movie, look no further. We loved making s’mores around the fire pit next to their 3 acre pond. Although it was a holiday weekend, it was extremely quiet and peaceful, only noise was the sound of nature! 10 star recommend this beautiful property. We will definitely be back!
