Whooping cranes ( Oct.-April) and 400 species of birds migrate and live in the area . Deer roam freely . Fishing and boat ramps along the water. State park is a peaceful walk. Rockport a short 9 miles ,lovely drive. No hammock at this time.

Just a quick walk to the convenience store next door for beverages. Kodys restaurant is a block away and a golf cart will come in handy if you’re out in about to the beach.
