This place was great. Awesome hospitality. The space was more than enough room for 3 people with all the amenities that we needed and then some, the area was very secure. The beach is a short distance away and was beautiful. Cannot say enough how great the place was. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay.

Los Jardines, piscina y jacuzzi preciosos! La pasamos muy bien, con una vista espectacular y el clima agradable. Espacios amplios y el lugar está muy cerca de la ciudad.

We selected this home based on previous reviews and photos, and were so happy that we chose it! Roberto, Eneida and Monica were so gracious and hospitable. We appreciated the connections that Roberto helped us with , to have our day on the lake with jet skis for a couple of hours from a local rental...use of the kayaks on site....and the boat was available for rental if we wanted to use it. We were able to order some delicious papusas one evening, thanks to Roberto's help and willingness to row across the lake to get our order!! We loved having plenty of towels available, for pool and bathing, without having to bring them along in our suitcases!! The Host has responded to previous reviews and has a new refrigerator added to a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen! We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed the amenities available! Our family enjoyed a couple of peaceful days together here, and we hope to be back for another enjoyable stay~ Thanks for sharing this beautiful space!

Dank der guten Beschreibung von Maurizio war die Hacienda einfach zu finden und die Anfahrt war auch mit einem normalen Auto sehr gut machbar. Das Anwesen ist traumhaft schön, weitläufig, sehr schön bewachsen und mit unglaublich viel Liebe gestaltet. Eine überaus gelungene Mischung aus Originalgegenständen der Hacienda mit marokkanische Kunst. Der Aufenthalt hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Die Hacienda ist einzigartig. Wir haben von dem Essensangebot Gebrauch gemacht, die Mahlzeiten waren großartig und Doña Alma und ihr Team tuen alles, dass man sich rundum wohl fühlt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die vielen unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten, der tolle Ausblick, Jacuzzi, Hängematten…. und alles ist überaus gepflegt. Ein echtes Juwel mit viel Liebe und Herz geführt, Doña Alma hat unseren Aufenthalt einzigartig gemacht. VIELEN DANK!

We had an amazing experience at Joe's place in Xanadu. Although we came across a couple of glitches, Joe quickly responded to my messages and had assistance readily available. He's also a very caring host. One suggestion I would make is probably access to better internet or WiFi. During my stay, we had a couple of minor health issues going on and it took some effort to get a good signal to communicate with Joe, Uber drivers and other family members to ask for assistance. I found a few spots around the house with relatively good reception, however, in instances when it's hard to move around or want to stay away from the heat, a better signal would have taken that additional stress off. Other than that, Joe's place is wonderful and he is an amazing host. Highly recommend him and his place. Thank you for being such an amazing host.

This was such an amazing house to stay in! It was spacious, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. I stayed here with my two kids, and we all had a wonderful time from enjoying the pool to exploring the beautiful country around us. Lupita was absolutely incredible. She was always available when we needed her and even cooked for us, her food was amazing! God bless her. If you stay here, definitely reach out to Lupita for any services you might need she was such a great help and made everything so easy. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Amazing Stay in a Perfect Location! We absolutely loved our stay at this villa! The house itself was beautiful, the beach was stunning, and the location was just perfect—close enough to all necessary services but far enough from the tourist crowds to enjoy peace and quiet. The security was excellent, and we felt completely safe throughout our stay. A special mention to Francisco, the house guardian, who was truly a gem! He went above and beyond to help us with both small and big issues, always with kindness and efficiency. His presence made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend this place and would love to return in the future!

Un lugar increíble! Tal cual las fotos y me parece excelente para su estadía sean cual sea las edades, la piscina, al área de recreación, se puede jugar entre amigos también. Cuentan con una parrilla que es para asado al estilo argentino (abierto). Las habitaciones muy cómodas y la playa excelente si solo quieres sentarte y relajarte ya que hay privacidad total. Vale la pena en mi opinión.

The little house is very small but cozy. The gardens and the pool give it a special charm and make the stay very peaceful and pleasant. Perfect for disconnecting and relaxing.

The view was majestic as described by everyone. Access to the beaches was easy, you just had to wait for the tide to go down and you could then walk to the beach. You have to be mindful of the timing and make sure to bring water shoes to walk on the rocks, etc. As mentioned by previous reviews the place could use a little TLC. Also we were disappointed that there were no hammocks it was something some of our guests were looking forward to. Also the drinking water ran out and the staff said the water wouldn't be delivered until the following day. However all of those things are minor & the beautiful view made up for it. Also be mindful that although they have staff that will do all the cooking YOU need to provide the groceries! I brought my own cook because I like things a certain way so we mostly utilized the cooking staff for breakfast & food prep. Pro Tip: Find a mercado on the way there to do the grocery shopping avoid "El Super" as it is overpriced and fruits and veggies not fresh.

Beautiful peaceful property on the lake! Love that they have lifejackets and access to a kayak and paddleboard. The outdoor kitchen/living area is so nice and relaxing you really only use the rooms when you go to sleep! Manuel and Vilma that take care of the property are always friendly and helpful. You do night a high vehicle/4x4 road to get there and entrance are pretty rough

The place is beautiful and the view…just amazing! Ricardo and his son were very helpful and responsive. Very attentive to all our needs. Would come back here again!

Our group of seven had an unforgettable experience at this beautiful and peaceful place. Six of us were visiting El Salvador for the first time, and we were incredibly impressed by the warm hospitality and excellent service. The surroundings were stunning, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Brenda was amazing! She was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention to Chef Gustavo, whose meals were absolutely incredible! Every dish was delicious and added to the overall experience. We also want to thank all the staff who were always there for us, making sure we had the best experience possible. Their kindness and hard work truly made a difference. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful place with outstanding service and amazing food, this is it! We will be back soon.

Great stay!! In walking distance to all the restaurants and local shops. The beds were so comfy and the hot water a plus. The breakfast is included and it was delicious. 10/10.

La casa es increible . Es un lugar maravilloso , muy fresco . La alberca muy rica . La cocina es súper equipada . Su barra tiene una vista de otro mundo . Las camas súper cómodas , todo muy limpio . Súper recomendada !

The home: Beautiful, lots of character, open-air feel, AC in the bedrooms. The hosts: Incredibly helpful. Honestly. They arranged transportation numerous times and provide fresh local local beans. They graciously picked us up some fruit and beer for the house, as our plane landed at 10pm and we were hoping to just get to the house and relax. Also, Mike was just great to chat with. He knows a lot about the area and is easy to get along with. The location: Bonkers....bonkers. You have a deck that wraps around half the house. Then a trail that takes you down to the pool. Then a huge gazebo (we spent half our days in it) followed by a path directly to the beach. You honestly couldn't ask for more, location wise. If you want authentic, walk-able, sit-able, and being a stone throw from the water, this is your place. I'd go back.

This is our second time staying in this vacation home. You can enjoy the beach as it's only a few steps away or if you prefer to relax in the backyard's pool. The staff and host there were very welcoming and attentive. Perfect home to vacation in!

This is a great place, with a beautiful location up on the top of the cliff, just as described, with a great pool area, with the thatched roof. We had a great stay as a family, with our college-age daughters. Very relaxing! There are a number of good restaurants nearby, along the main road. The private rock pool at the bottom of the cliffs was really nice, and there are good steps all the way down. The gated community also includes a good size beach and a larger swimming pool. This park area is also nice, and the ocean is nice and warm, but the surf was too rough for swimming, and the sand is dark, so it gets really hot in the middle of the day. Best to enjoy the pool area at the house, with the beautiful view out over the Pacific, and beautiful sunsets over the cliffs. It was an easy drive to San Salvador to see the sights, and we also did a trip to see the Mayan ruins at San Andres, and the volcanoes at Cerro Verde national park (easy side trips with a rental car).

The space was plenty large for our group. We had a few relatives stay with us the first night but were a group of 8 for a majority of the time so we had ample space. The onsite staff was incredibly helpful and we enjoyed the privacy of the space to spend time as a family. The location is not super walkable and as others have mentioned is on a busy street, but it felt very safe. The photos near the pool are very explicit that they were taken in 2020, so take that into account when considering the condition of the poolside furniture. Overall, the space is somewhat dated and could use a minor facelift but is as described in the listing. We appreciated the kitchen, the extra fridge space, and the television. Be aware that there is no proper "living room" - there is a lovely outdoor space but it can get quite hot and humid outside if you have older folks in the group. We appreciated the host's hospitality, responsiveness and local suggestions.
