A perfect place to relax and rest with your family while exploring the Abel Tasman Nationalpark, the Great Taste Cycle Trail or the Richmond Hills. The Richmond Hills have lots of walking and mountain bike trails with fantastic views over the Tasman Bay. Rabbit Island with its wonderful beach and spectacular scenery is also a great place to enjoy the day and just 15 min away by car.

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Compact stand alone semi rural country cottage amongst the fruit trees, Wi fi available ,situated 1km from Brightwater & only 15 minutes to Richmond. Close proximity to cycle trails. Suitable for 2 guests with queen size bed, separate kitchen set up for light cooking and bathroom facilities. Own washing machine . Self check in with lockbox. Owners live on property There is a wooden deck with outdoor furniture & bbque. $15 fee will be incurred should an EV be charged at our cottage .

Plum Cottage - charming tiny house near the beach

Inspired by the tiny house movement, this cottage packs a big punch. Constructed with native timbers, Plum Cottage integrates beautifully with the landscape. The cottage is nestled on our back hill amongst the plum trees and gardens. Feel free to pick some tomatoes or a juicy plum! Summer sunsets are lovely! Located on the Tahunanui hillside with views to the distant mountains. It is an easy 1.3 km walk to the beach (15 min.) -or 5 min drive. CBD is 6km away. Bus stop is 13m walk.

The Lookout

Uniquely situated on a rural property that sits above Nelson and just a short drive from both Nelson Airport and Nelson City centre. Located up a winding, private, gravel driveway approx 1km from the road. 'The Lookout' is separate from our home (located at the far end of our double garage) self-contained and completely private. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.
