If you are visiting Denali National Park this is the place to stay. The Coho Cabin is absolutely beautiful. I flew into Anchorage, rented a car and drove to this cabin. I stayed my first two nights in Alaska here and I don't think there will ever be a better place to experience. Wow! The cabin is so nice inside. It was way above and beyond my expectations. It has everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. The bed was so comfortable, the heater kept it warm and cozy and the kitchenette met all my needs. There was plenty of water available. I made coffee each morning and filled several travel liters before leaving. The artwork in the cabin is beautiful. Original stained glass, paintings and pictures of Denali National Park and wildlife. The art is inspiring. Michelle, the host, was wonderful. She is the nicest person and she provided great recommendations for groceries, weather, adventures and Denali Park conditions. She made this the best experience. Highly recommended

Do yourself a favor a book this home. I'll break the reviews down by 1) the room, and 2) the hostess. 1) The guesthome was clean and exactly as described. The views from it are breathtaking, as you drive into a slightly wooded cove. All the essentials are covered, and she even has some pamphlets for northern lights viewing, and things to do around town. The bed was very comfy and there's plenty of space overall. She also has a security cam on the premises for safety, and porch lights. 2) Lynsie was the best host I could have asked for. She and her family are very personable, and showed genuine care that our stay in Fairbanks was safe and fun. There was some snowy/icy weather after the first night I stayed. Her dad gave me a ride around Fairbanks in his 4x4 truck to show how the road conditions, and to give tips on driving in snowy/icy weather. They also have a snow plow on site, so they plowed all the snow from the driveway for us to get to the main road. Just a little extra care.

The description said it is an entire house. It is a lower lever two bedroom apartment with separate entrance attached to what seems to be an unoccupied home. That said it was comfortable, convenient and a great location with a beautiful view.

The location of this cabin is perfect. Within short walking distance to the Alaskan Coffee Bean for good coffee every morning. The grocery store is a few minutes drive down the road. Denali National Park is also a short drive away with beautiful views. The cabin itself is very clean and has just about everything you’ll need if you choose to cook during your stay. There is a little bit of noise from the main road but it wasn’t disturbing at all. Beds, pillows, blankets are all very soft and comfortable for a goods night sleep after a long day at the park.

We had a peaceful, restorative stay at Kathy’s place. It’s very quiet there (at least in snowy January) and the surrounding snow-covered black spruces and birches make looking out the windows very rewarding. We stopped at the west Fred Meyer after landing, stocked up for the week, and had great meals each day in the large kitchen. Yes-when the skies are clear at night (I recommend staying longer than a few days in the winter to catch a clear night), the aurora can be viewed right above the house when it’s active. It changes its form a lot! My favourite part of being there was a private solo dog sledding tour not far. The house is very warm and cozy for being large (even when the temperature was -25F), and Kathy is an amazing host! Thank you so much, Kathy! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain cabin in Fairbanks! The view was absolutely spectacular — waking up to the Alaskan wilderness each morning was unforgettable. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful amenities like ear plugs, sleeping masks, popcorn, and even complimentary wine, which made our stay feel extra special and cozy. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and just as described. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and take in some breathtaking scenery. Incredible place to stay for a big group, and even better to not have to drive anywhere to see the northern lights. A small idea would be a half bath on main floor to avoid everyone using the bathroom in one of the couple’s rooms, it was the only one on that floor. However that didn’t affect how much we loved our stay & that house. Wonderful memories were made with our bar family & the house was a major highlight of our trip. It had everything we needed & the hosts were awesome at communicating & made everything so easy for us.

We had a fun and memorable stay. The surroundings were amazing. We had a full view upstairs for watching for northern lights in the warmth of the living area or walking out on the balcony or driveway. There were two nights that weren’t cloudy that we had beautiful views of green and purple auroras. We did walk the trail and played in the snow. The house was clean, cute, well equipped and comfortable. It is far enough out that it’s private and quiet but close enough to main highways that you can easily get around Fairbanks and surrounding areas. The driveway was a little tricky due to icy conditions but we maneuvered it successfully according to Louise’s instructions. Thanks Louise for hosting our stay. Alaska has so much to explore. We will remember this experience always. 🩵
