Nestled at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in southern Colorado is a simple and elegant adobe-style solar home that is sure to calm your mind and warm your heart. The house sits on 3-1/2 acres of pinon and juniper trees and offers stunning valley and mountain views - all surrounded by deep sense of quiet. Due to the absence of city lights and the high elevation of Crestone, the stars are exceptionally bright in the night sky. The house features a full kitchen and two separate bedrooms

Secluded Stone Cabin w/ Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Peaceful retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. (Tub is still under construction. Landscaping and some final details are not finished.) Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

Accessible only by 4x4/AWD (snow chains required in winter), it features a lofted bedroom with skylight, kitchen, hot-water bathroom, main room with 270-degree glass windows and large private deck. Be prepared for small spaces and lots of stairs with breathtaking views of the Uintas that are nothing short of spectacular!

Wee Nook- a Hobbit Hole

Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. The Gray Loft is the first of five Lofts in the complex. 45 square meters exclusively to rest. Surrounded by rocks and gardens, the gray loft has the best view of Quintay's Playa Grande.
