The place was really nice in a quiet neighborhood, I wish we could have booked it in the summer to use the grill in the back, so a nice little retreat for my family it felt like home. My family would use this place again.

This was our second stay at this house - very comfortable and convenient to all of the things to do in the Richmond area. Very nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It will be our go to place to stay when visiting Richmond. Claude is an excellent host.

Home was quiet and tucked away from commercial areas, but close enough to all amenities! Alex was helpful and always very quick to respond. Great spot overall!

It was the perfect home for enjoying our daughter’s wedding weekend with our family and friends. The price was worth it for this special occasion. The kitchen was well stocked. We were too busy to enjoy the beautiful screened in porch, or use the grill and fire pit. Those were our only regrets. Thank you again, Kay, for thinking of everything!

House was very clean and priced well. Location was safe and felt like it was a higher end area when driving around. We never felt unsafe at the local grocery store and restaurants down the street. Location is close to the highway between Richmond and Williamsburg. It was an easy 1 hour drive down the highway to see historical Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Hampton, VA. It was also very close to Cold Harbor an dGaines Mill Civil War battlefields for a quick thing to do if you have some down time. They have walking trails at the battlefields to take a quick hike. Check in was easy with just entering the passcode in the door. Place had a fully stocked kitchen that made meal preparation easy. Place is very private and surrounded by trees making you fell out in the country. There is a neighbor that shares the driveway but you cannot see their house at all and it felt removed from them. There is only one neighbor that you see coming and going when you leave the house.

The place was nice, clean, and spacious for a much needed girls weekend. Karleah responded immediately to any questions or concerns I had.

The house was fantastic, just like last year. Very clean, comfortable, well appointed and a great location. It's a large home with lots of amenities. We stayed there a year ago and just stayed again. Will definitely come back next year. Kristin, the host, is very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at John and Ericka’s Airbnb! They were excellent hosts—super responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for our work trip—clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Everything was as described, and the attention to detail made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

The apartment was located right in downtown Richmond so it was very easy to walk around and explore the cute restaurants and shops! It was also very convenient to have a designated parking spot in the back. The co-host Nelda was very responsive and gave very clear instructions for check in and check out. Just note that this apartment is on the 3rd floor so you will have to climb a few flight of stairs otherwise everything was as described!

This is my second time staying and I love this place. So easy and cozy and clean. I will be returning.

I cannot say enough good things about Shaniesha’s place. It’s very clean, will all the amenities you need. She is very responsive and made sure I was well taken care of during my stay!

Taryn's place was great for our short stay in Richmond. The toys for kids were appreciated by my little ones. The location was peaceful and not too far away from the city. It was exactly like the pictures and Taryn was a very responsive and helpful host. I'd recommend this home to anyone with a family looking into staying in the Richmond area, my kids liked it so much they didn't want to leave.

We just fell in love with the historic Churchill neighborhood and Sue’s place is a wonderful place to stay. We brought our dog and Sue always left him a full water bowl and treats in the courtyard. The apartment is in a historic building and has both a beautiful courtyard and private balcony with the apartment. We loved walking around the neighborhood with our dog which had a park nearby which overlooks the river. Within walking distance are a coffee shop and many different restaurants and lunch places to choose from. We always had a parking spot right in front and drove around the city without any problems. We highly recommend Sue’s place!

Fantastic accommodations - apartment seemed close to new with plenty of room & private bathroom for each bedroom & big walk-in closets. Nice common area between bedrooms. Great dog park & areas to walk dog. Would definitely stay with Anna again & highly recommend.

Great place, we enjoyed our stay with a 2 and 5 year old. It was very kid friendly except there were a few cords/wifi router/security things easily accessible to the kids. But otherwise, we enjoyed having the mostly private backyard and a crib set up and had no complaints!

I think I have the best Airbnb luck ever, but this tops it. I'd buy the place from him if he weren't such a splendid ambassador himself. Luke alone is worth the trip, but the house is perfect

We had a truly enjoyable stay. The house was exactly as described, very clean, and well stocked. Caryn was an accommodating host and very easy to work with and communicated well. We hope to return soon and would not hesitate to reserve this home again.

Was a great way to be out doors but not in a tent! The creek was our favorite. No need to go anywhere our whole stay. Wonderfully dark and quiet at night . A great get away

We had a lovely stay and created wonderful memories with our friends and family at this beautiful log cabin. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a remote getaway that is still easy access to Richmond, which has plenty to do. Our favorite was waking up and looking at the 3 horses, taking walks down to the river, and our kids playing together in the playroom, which has all the toys a kid could ever want. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing private cabin in the woods. Comfortable, clean, quiet and relaxing - the cabin is thoughtfully modernized and equipped with everything you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the trails, fishing in the river (found smallmouth, pickerel, and bluegill) and relaxing by the firepit. Our dog enjoyed the trip as much as we did, and we never heard or saw another person in three days! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful private property!

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay in Janice’s cabin. It had everything we needed and the views were amazing. After long days of adventuring around Charlottesville it was nice to have somewhere so private and comfy to come back too.

Wonderful rustic cabin located some 30 mins from the town of Farmville Va. Me and my husband had a wonderful two day stay and we enjoyed the peace and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for. The town of Farmville got everything you might need for your stay, groceries, restaurants etc. The location of the corner lot in front a dead end street offers the convenience of not having to need a 4wd to get there while at the same time avoid the noise of regular traffic. The cabin itself is very comfortable, and we loved just sitting in the front porch sipping our favorite drinks. The interior is decorated tastefully and is open space. The room upstairs is very roomy, and we loved the sitting area perfect if you like to read etc. John and Miriam was very attentive and welcoming and communication was quick and clear. In summary we highly recommend the bittersweet cabin if you just looking for a quiet getaway. We would definitely look for this place again if we come back to the area.
