Susan was a phenomenal host and went the extra mile by contacting the local restaurant to advise them that someone will be ordering from them after trading hours as they would arrive in town late. Her place was extremely neat, and well kept and she made the stay effortless. Thank you for an amazing stay on short notice.

It’s an amazing place to stay beautiful views in the morning and late afternoon. Any star gazers it’s perfect for watching the stars it’s so clear at night. The people in the area are very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t find the trail for the hike and the path to the river. There wasn’t much to do in activities around the area and everything closed early so make sure to take a laptop with some movies to keep you busy. But overall it was an amazing stay I feel so relaxed afterwords.

What a historic gem! Beautiful Just is lovingly restored and furnished with antiques. The place is extremely cozy and makes you feel right at home. We could only stay for one night, but will definitely be back!! The house has everything needed for a longer stay and to 'cook up a storm'. The garden is huge - a fantastic spot to relax. Various restaurants are just up the road. The vlei nature reserve is equally close and worth a visit. Lovely bird hides.

Fire pit not cleaned, broken weber, broken gutters, roof guards and a hole in the fence means there a little air of neglect/unfinished business about the space. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and the town of Wakkies is always a treat!

The camping at La Belle Esperance is fantastic! It is such a beautiful spot and the ablutions and kitchen were so lovely and well appointed. Karin and Robin have built the most lovely place. I feel very lucky that they chose to share it with us travelers. It was the perfect stopover on our drive from Kruger to Royal Natal. Thanks so much!

Great cosy cabin between the mountains. A perfect space to pack off and rest out of the hustle and bustle of the city life. Definitely would recommend if you want to enjoy nature. We even had a trusted nature guide on our hike (aka the farm Daschund)
