A bright and comfortable open-plan space on the first floor of the old stable block on the Airlie estate, in the spectacular Angus Glens. High beamed ceilings give a spacious feel to the main room. Everything here is made from Douglas Fir ply, including walls, floor and furniture. It'll feel very cosy here at night with the lamps lit, the wood fire and the large bed with feather pillows and wool blankets. The loo and bathroom are down 4 steps, please note no dividing door. Minimum stay 1 night.

Birnie Cottage is a self catering property which has its own hedged, private garden, an open fire and woodland walks, and is situated on the A926, roughly half way between Kirriemuir in Angus, and Blairgowrie in Perthshire - an ideal location for touring both of these beautiful counties and beyond. Birnie has no additional fees, is very dog friendly and your pets stay free of charge. The cottage also has its own social media page to keep you up to date with what to do and where to eat locally.

The Old Farm Bothy at Middleton

A cosy hideaway for two in a beautiful scenic spot on a working hill farm at the foot of the Angus Glens. In traditional bothy style, the bed and living/dining area are in one room, with a separate galley kitchen and shower room. With a wood burning stove, small enclosed garden with panoramic views and easy walks from the door, it’s an ideal place to switch off with fresh air and a good book. Ericht opened in 2022, and a lot of guests tell us it's their favourite. She sits right next to Isla, though you'd never know it. A bund and fencing sit between them, hot tubs at opposite ends, so your space stays your own. Inside it's warm and comfortable, nothing overdone. Super king bed, glass doors looking out over the fields. Racka sheep usually right there. Hot tub for complete seclusion, fire pit stocked and waiting. Fully equipped kitchen, ensuite shower, heated towel rail.
