2nd Retreat

This bright and quaint historical little house is one block from the downtown district. This 2nd retreat has a charming enclosed front porch for sitting, a quiet serene space to enjoy your morning coffee or glass of wine, to read a book or just to sit and relax. We are in walking distance to a great Ice cream shop , the local winery, a quaint coffee shop, Mango's for margarita's and end the evening with the local movie theater. Enjoy the small town dynamic.

My place is less than a block from Restaurants, an outdoor Splash Park, and beaches along Lake Huron. Within walking distance is a park with basketball and tennis courts, a bandshell for outdoor concerts in summer and more beach access. If you're looking for a night in, the backyard is private with a firepit and hot tub, or enjoy the game/activity room downstairs.

It has been a labor of love, for our entire family, to update this wonderful 1930's cottage. We hope you appreciate the design, the details and the decor. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of fun. This rustic cottage is on Lake Huron between Alpena and Ossineke. Great location to bask in the sun, swim, fish, visit Mackinac Island, see Ocqueoc Falls,, ice fish, ski, snow mobile, camp fires and so much more. Amazing spot to unplug and spend quality time with family.

Beach days and bonfire nights

You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the Sandy shoreline, kayaking, swimming, grilling and bonfires. Only a 5 mile drive North to Alpena or less than 4 miles to Ossineke and venture to Dinosaur Gardens or Connie's Cafe for breakfast.

The Depot
