We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful serene log cabin, located on the river. A very relaxing retreat to recharge and be in nature. The cabin is well equipped, beds are comfortable with nice linens. Kitchen works well and has most of what any chef would need. Hot tub was an added bonus and quite enjoyable as you watched the river float by. Eric was very responsive, and provided lots of information about the history of the home, area and suggested things we may want to do locally. We had the pleasure of seeing a beaver, mink, hawk and various ducks right outside the cabin during our stay. A tranquil stay. We hope to be back.

We enjoyed our stay! The rustic cabin feel was just what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back. The host was very helpful and responsive.

My husband and I stayed here in the midst of an absolutely gorgeous fall weekend. We could not have gotten any luckier with the weather or the view of the forest, it was exactly what we were hoping for. Kristin, Chris and Charlie were welcoming and kept to themselves. They put out extra firewood in a wheelbarrow so it was easily accessible for us. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and exactly as the photos on the listing. The bed was so comfortable, both my husband and I had 2 great nights sleep and slept in. The hot tub was spacious and so enjoyable, I believe we were in and out at least 6 times. The instructions for the toilet and the rest of the cabin were easy to follow and we ran into 0 issues. We will certainly be back, if Kristin and Chris will have us 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had the best time at Sarah's place. It was so relaxing and and peaceful, I really needed to get away from the city and work and just take some time to unwind and relax. The beach cabin was a delight to stay in, everything was decorated so well and the hot tub and sauna helped us to decompress! There is a bbq to cook on and everything inside is spotless and pristine. It's a great place to visit for a girls trip or to reconnect with your partner! I can't wait to go back.

That was the perfect easter weekend, the place exceeded my expectations. You get what u see in the pics if not even more (extra access to shower, kitchen etc... if needed but not a must just to be clear) The hosts were super friendly, made us feel just home with their hospitality. definitely coming back again!

From start to finish, our stay at this charming cottage was exceptional. The host was incredibly flexible with check-in and check-out, which made our trip completely stress-free. Their warm welcome included authentic local maple syrup on arrival and a delightful surprise of Pysanky and bread—such thoughtful touches! The rustic cottage had everything we needed: cozy spaces, fully equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals, and fun amenities like kayaks, board games, and cards for entertainment. We loved unwinding in the jacuzzi and sauna by day and gathering around the bonfire at night—roasting marshmallows, telling stories, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. What truly set this experience apart was the host’s generosity and attention to detail. Whether it was accommodating requests or sharing local traditions, they went above and beyond. We left feeling refreshed, connected, and already planning our return. An absolute 5 star gate away. Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing escape from the city at Matthew’s beautiful cabin! We could not get over how stunning and picture perfect it looked (literally out of a magazine), not a detail was missed when designing this. The cabin was so spacious, perfect for our girl group of 8, with a fully equipped kitchen that we used to cook all weekend long. We especially loved the big windows with lots of natural light & the hot tub! I would highly recommend Bettencourt lodge for your next girls getaway or family vacation!

Dan’s place is by far one of our favourites! My family stayed here for 5 days to celebrate my birthday. It was exactly what we needed. Plenty of relaxation and surrounded with nature. The wood fire hot tub is the best. Plenty of space for our dog to run around outside as well. We love to cook so kitchen is perfect for us. It’s well equipped and my husband learned to make a latte. It was amazing! I would highly recommend it and we can’t wait to go back ♥️

We had a lovely stay at Cristian’s this September (2 couples + 2 babies). We spent most of our time enjoying the ample seating on the deck and dock, but there was plenty to do indoors as well. Gorgeous and serene views of the river. We went for a pedal boat and kayak ride everyday. Everything at Cristian’s was exactly as pictured and him and Vera were super responsive to all our questions. Would happily stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The space itself was beautiful and very clean. All of the bedrooms/bunkies were cozy and comfortable. With the provided space heaters we had no issues at all keeping warm at night. And of course the view over the lake was so serene. Gary was also incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Stephanie's Airbnb! She was an excellent host—very responsive and attentive to our needs. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short due to an incoming snowstorm, but it didn't take away from our experience. If I had one piece of feedback, it would be regarding the walkway to the door—it should have been cleared, especially with the heavy snow we received. The melting icicles made it a bit slippery, and the driveway could have been cleared too, as it would have been easier to access the front door. Also, if you're planning to skate, the amount of snow made it difficult since there was slush underneath, so skating wasn't really an option. However, despite that, the space itself was great! We were a group of three families, with a total of 10 people and 2 dogs, and it was the perfect setup. The boys loved the outdoor firepit, and the moms enjoyed the indoor one. Overall, we were very happy with our stay, and Stephanie was a lovely host. Highly recommend!

Sally and the Swan Cove Cottage were incredible! Sally was very responsive and accommodating. The cottage itself was ideal. Due to the loss of my dad in December, I booked on fairly short notice and headed north! The cottage was close to friends so that I could visit with them, or enjoy the peace of the cottage. It being the beginning of January, the porch may not have gotten the use it could’ve, but I loved the option. I arrived very early am, and the cottage was warm and ready. Thank you Sally for an incredible stay!

Everything was absolutely perfect! Alexia was welcoming and helpful. The cottage was great… especially the outdoor shower! It was wonderful! Thank you for being pet friendly as well… our puppies were so happy. We will definitely be booking again!

Our stay at the Serenity Shores was peaceful and cozy. We loved the cozy and cottage feel of the place. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We loved having fires every night while watching the sunset over the lake. Kasia was a great and responsive host. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to check in. The local town served convenience for groceries and local eats. We loved every part of our stay and would definitely rebook and revisit Serenity Shores next summer!

I had a wonderful time at Melissa’s cottage. It was a great price and we really enjoyed kayaking. I would recommended this Airbnb for 2-3 people who are looking for some peace, a beautiful scenery and enjoy kayaking.

A beautiful cottage right on the water. Quiet and peaceful, lots of birds and critters. The place was super clean, the kitchen and BBQ were nice and well kept. We had a great time!

Just back from a two night stay at Chris and Hannah's cozy, comfortable cabin. The setting is spectacular nestled in the sugar bush of a working maple syrup producer. The cabin is ultra charming and well equipped. I dealt with Hannah who was warm, kind, and helpful without being obstrusive. For cold-weather visitors, note that shower is outside but just a step outside the back door, as is the private sauna. I would definitely return to this peaceful, charming place and recommend it to others.

It was a great place in a small beautiful town on the lake. Dan’s place was by the lake great views of sunset and peaceful private space. Definitely worth it will go back foresure!

The place was more than what we had expected. Everyone in the community was nice and welcoming. The place had different types of activities so you are never bored. This is definetly a place my friends and I want to come to again in the future.

Jennifer was a wonderful host. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. My wife and I really enjoyed our short stay and will be back again in the future as a family with the kids. We had the best sleep in a long time on the cabin bed, it was so comfortable.

Amber’s cabin was absolutely stunning, charming, majestic, and straight out of a magazine. Words cannot describe how beautiful this place truly is. The cabin has a rustic/vintage but also modern feel and vibe to it which is the perfect balance. The kitchen was super cute and had a retro feel to it with the cabinets, and was also fully equipped with gorgeous new stainless steel appliances all throughout, and every single kitchen amenity you can think of from pots and pans, to coffee/tea pods and wine bottle openers and much more! The spacious living room area was the perfect spot to cozy up and watch a movie on the big screen, while also having a view of the lake from the window right next to the couches. The cabin is surrounded by a lake and several trees, which adds to the peaceful serenity around it. Amber was also extremely responsive and helpful during our stay, we enjoyed every minute of being at this cabin and would seriously consider living there if we could (lol). 10/10!

Stunning location and exactly what we needed. Beyond matched expectations. Cutest cabin in natural surroundings. Stress instantly leaves as soon as you walk in the door. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very unique with pond view and birds. Loved it! Host was friendly and set us up well.
