Super easy check in. The place was absolutely spotless. A plethora of towels & plenty of extra blankets. Love that! We didn't use the kitchen at all but it looked like everything you'd need. Including ice in the freezer! very nice place. very clean and smelt wonderful soon as we walked in the door! check out was extremely easy. Loved that we didn't have a whole list of chores that we had to complete when woke up & half asleep! Would reebok in heartbeat.

This was such a great place to stay for a laidback get together to celebrate a birthday. We had everything that we needed in the kitchen to cook meals for each day we stayed, enough towels for 5 people for showers and to dry off after the hot tub. The bathrooms were stocked up with travel sized soap and shampoo/conditioner. A very beautiful & clean cabin experience! The trains were not a bother whatsoever even if they were frequent, we enjoyed them and didn’t find them to be a distraction or too loud. We ended up hiking at the Sugar Creek Bluff which we found with the brochures left at the cabin. The overlook was absolutely beautiful! There was plenty of room for a group of 5 and easy check in/check out process. We enjoyed the sunset and sunrise view that the stay provided and the view of the river. While the cabin was nearby to others, we felt very private and secluded. We were not bothered at all during our stay which was preferred. Also, the clue game was so much fun to complete. :)

This is the 2nd time we have rented this home and just love it. Kristen communicates very well and is very responsive to any questions that we have. We feel right at home here. We enjoy the view of the bluff❤️. Quiet neighborhood. We love the Harpers Ferry area. We look forward to our next stay!!

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. This was a beautiful property. They thought of everything a person could forget. We arrived sooner than expected and we were willing to wait outside but Kathy was more than happy let us in early. The space was so relaxing and so much fun.

Probably the nicest house in Harper’s Ferry. Located on a beautiful piece of property. Will book again if I make it back to NE Iowa.

This home has been beautifully renovated with quality materials and features. It is so quiet and private with lots of wildlife to observe. The home was a wonderful place to celebrate Thanksgiving with family😇.

I stayed here for my Bachelor trip and it was everything and then some. The pool table is great for entertaining, plenty of tvs, close to fishing spots and good night life. If you stay you definitely want to check out Shep’s, The Other Place, Buck Stop and Buzzards in New Albin. Place was really clean, had everything we needed for a weekend and was cheap. Great place!

Great place to stay. Right downtown and walking distance to everything. It is upstairs that could be tricky for some people but not a problem! Will stay here again.

We hit a deer on the way to the Airbnb which delayed our arrival by over 2 hours. After all airbags deployed we were very sore and tired. You never know the quality that a bed will be but Nick’s place had a very comfortable bed. It was a nice end to a pretty bad night! We really enjoyed our stay!

Place was clean and cozy. Gabby was very helpful and responded to me quickly. Being a novice Airbnb user she made things easy. I did have a little trouble finding the place, because I was looking for the brick outside like in the pictures. They must have added an addition and current addition didn’t match the old brick outside picture. I would definitely and most likely stay here again for my next fishing vacation. Thanks!

Eight adults & one toddler totally enjoyed this AIR BnB. It was scenic, we watched Bald Eagles, fished, hiked & BBQ'd. And we made forever memories. The house is spacious & gorgeous. We were in the upper section & enjoyed our time there. My only concern is there needs to be more lighting, in/outside. I am somewhat visually impaired & found the cooking area & kitchen sink was not enough light for me . The firepit area was not lighted & it was a hazard for me to walk in the immediate area. Lighting is needed in upper shower area, too. Other than that, everything else was perfect. Would probably book again, though. Thank you!

Beautiful space, central location and gracious host. Definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our visit to Lansing. Nancy and Scott met us at check in to show us around and answer questions. The unique stone building has been transformed into a beautiful and comfortable apartment with plenty of space for 2-4 people. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We hiked on Mt Hosmer, explored the historic Main Street, shopped at the variety store, and had pizza at the Safe House. We hope to stay here again next time we travel on the Great River Road.

Very nice for two couples with the two baths. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed having a grill and cooking dinner in the evening. Nice location for scenic drives along the Mississippi. River right across the street from the house and boat landing down the street.

Perfect location and scenery if you are looking to get off of the grid but still want access to restaurants and small-town amenities nearby. Host is very responsive and answered all of our questions prior to booking. Everything was as it is described in the listing so we felt our experience was exactly as we expected for privacy, accomodations, etc. We will definitely be booking another stay here in the near future!
