What a spot! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay at Adriano's cottage! We were looking for a spot on Lake Superior, a short drive from Sault Ste Marie, to enjoy sunsets and bonfires - this was perfect. The cottage itself is super cozy, and is extremely well-equipped. I was grateful to find a hair dryer, as I had forgotten mine, and the discovery of serving trays, allowed us to do up snack buffets. Check-in could not have been easier, and we appreciate Adriano's communication leading up to our arrival. The views out of the huge living room and kitchen windows are amazing, but once you walk down to the water's edge, you will be in awe! The sunsets!! The large fire pit is nestled along the shore, steps away from the crystal clear water! Bring water shoes as the beach area is rocky, but totally accessible. The wind on two days, had the lake resembling the Caribbean - so beautiful! We absolutely recommend booking a stay here - you will feel immediately at home! Enjoy!

Charming and Cozy in an amazing location! I plan to return in the summer and enjoy the beach, fire pit, rockhounding, watching the freighters and exploring. The location is a great launching point for many day trips within an hour or two of the cabin. And the beach access really is steps away from the door! We played outside all day and then played Catan and Uno at night. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is an entertainment center set up with Roku and a dvd player with movies and some games. The beds were both very comfortable with quality linens and blankets and great pillows. The porch is darling, birdfeeders all around and lanterns and lights for night. Kelly was the perfect host, very quick to respond, knowledgeable of the area, and a pleasure to communicate with! I highly recommend this cabin for one or two people. Perfect for a cozy getaway, beach fun and day trips. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Leo was a great host and was very responsive and helpful. His place was beautiful, that's undeniable. Having a beach right out the back and still being a short drive from many other lakes, trails, boat launches and more is perfect. I would definitely recommend Leo's place and will be staying again when I am back in the area. Great host, great spot!

This Airbnb is perfect. The cabin was beautiful and the view from the deck was awe inspiring. We loved going for dips everyday and the outdoor shower, was a cherry on top to the beauty. There was so much to explore and we loved being able to take the kayaks out on the water with the loons, in the early hours and night. The cabin on lake Jambo had everything that we could ever need and leaving felt like waking up from a dream. We highly recommend this incredible place and really appreciated our host Cheri. She was very responsive and thoughtful and was quick to make us feel welcome. She was a very kind and warm person which really emanated itself in the beautiful place that they have created. Second time staying at Jeanie’s cabin, and it was just as perfect as the first! The cabin is cozy, spotless, and well-stocked with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Jeanie is an incredible host—responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommend to everyone.

GREAT is an understatement! Breathtaking views of the St. Mary's River and I'd think a photographer, wildlife enthusiast, or artist would really really love to be back there. I'd like to come back with just 1 other person or a couple and really relax and enjoy the place. We were road running alot for our hobbies and barely felt like we got to enjoy it like we should have. The setting is beyond serene, freighters passing by, nice beach with wildlife and walking, birds, and tranquility.

We have never been that far north and the views were breath taking. Far enough out of the City to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to go and watch the hounds play. The cottage is small and quaint with a deck you don’t want to leave. We will hopefully be back.

The value you get for your stay is well worth the experience and location you get. While the trek to the location is very out of the way, it's incredibly beautiful scenery and a well stocked cabin. Always responsive and cares for the guests. The only downside is I can't give more than 5 stars for the value you get from the location and host's accommodation.

Great place, perfect for a longer stay

Oma's cottage was perfect for our stay while we visited our son at LSSU. It was about a 25 min drive from Sault Ste. Marie and easy to run back and forth. It was fun to watch the freighters go by on the river and watch them from the deck. Doug was extremely responsive and made the check in and check out process easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay and delightful host!

If your looking for a comfy, spacious cottage and a beautiful beach, look no further. Just a hop across a small, quiet road from the front yard to the beachfront where we spend most of our days…at night we spent sitting around the bonfire right in the front yard overlooking the lake (firewood was included which was a major bonus!). All amenities were included so we didn’t have to worry if we forgot anything and the owners were always available with any questions. We had a wonderful time and are hoping to book for next year!
