We had a great stay! The house was exactly as described. We had plenty of room for our large family and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the game room and the air hockey table. We will stay again next time we’re in the area!

I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others!! Very clean and great location for Downtown! Was great for our group of 9! Would easily sleep more!! 3 nice bathrooms ❤️

Our stay at this beautiful, historic home was better than we could have imagined. The house is a perfect blend of historic home and modern amenities. We all slept so well in the comfortable beds. The home is located within walking distance to City Beach, downtown and all the fun Clear Lake has to offer. Instructions regarding the stay were clear and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay!

Enjoyed our stay as my parents live nearby - the cabins in the area are lovely and it was very clean and felt like a great spot.

Myron’s communication with our group before our stay was helpful and clear. He offered us a flexible check in, which was highly appreciated. Myron provided suggestions for the area and answered questions from our group. He checked with us during our stay to ensure the furnishings and temperature were comfortable (the outside temp got down to -10, but we stayed warm) and that the rental unit met our expectations. The spacious Clausen House was perfect for our large group of 10 adults to enjoy meals, visiting and games together. The large house also provided us quiet spaces to rest and rejuvenate as needed. Beds were comfortable and linens/towels clean and abundant. The house is full of historic charm and we felt we had been transported back in time. There were antiques to explore and enjoy much to our delight. The kitchen had all we needed to make our meals. We also enjoyed eating out and taking in the local brewery. We had such a good time we’re already talking about our return trip.

The house was amazing. Very clean. Had everything a person would need. Plenty of room for all our guests. Great location. Close to gas station, grocery stores, and restaurants. The ping pong table was a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again.

Lacey was very accommodating and responsive, our family enjoyed our stay!

Water Place fit our needs perfectly! We were able to be together as a larger family under one roof for our family Christmas. The well stocked kitchen was a huge help, and we enjoyed the peaceful river views.
