Alberta: soggiorni in minicase

We had an amazing stay at Marjories cute little cabin. It was set in a serene location in nature and was very private. It was exactly as described . We would certainly go back some time in future.

Beautiful and peaceful chalet and property. Exactly as described. If you are looking for accommodations to step out of your busy day to day life, this is the right choice! Erika was an excellent host and easy to communicate with. The check in was straightforward and the instructions/house rules were easy to follow. Great for adventurers, friends, or families. The beds are super comfortable including the pillows which is always a nice surprise! The heating in the chalet and in the pod was excellent. The shower pressure was perfect, there is lots of firewood, and the fresh eggs were delicious. It was easy to get into town. Everywhere we went people were super friendly. Highly recommended for short or longer stays. Thank you!

What an incredible stay, it was the perfect way to finish off our 2 week honeymoon. The cabin is perfectly secluded but super easy to access all the amenities Julie has on offer, including Archery which was great fun on our last day. Although we didn’t see a bear, we were treated to the most amazing northern lights we’ve ever seen-it was mind blowing! The cabin also has phone reception (just) if you sit on the bed upstairs!

We had a lovely stay at Christina's cabin. A few things stood out to us, notably the fact that, though rustic, the water pressure and temperature was great. While outside of the host's control, there are a few things to note. 1) the drive is very, very muddy (as mentioned in the posting) after snow or rain. It may not be doable for every vehicle, but cars with all wheel drive and high clearance will manage just fine. 2) the neighbour's dogs visit. This is only notable because we brought our dog who is not friendly with other dogs, and we were excited to have him explore the property. There were many times we had to pop him back in the cabin as the neighbour dogs ventured too close. These dogs are beautiful and very very friendly, but did limit how much our dog could be in the yard, which doesn't have a full fence (as reflected in the photos). All in all, bring a few bottles of wine, some good friends and board games for this cozy cabin getaway. 10/10 would return!

Natalie’s communication was excellent prior to my stay. This made finding the location and check-in very easy. There was lots of attention to detail in the cabin to make me feel right at home, comfortable, and have everything I needed. Her care for her guests was very evident, and made for a lovely stay.

Shauna’s cabin #1 provided us with a wonderful two-night stay. The fire pit and hot tub were the top two memorable parts of the stay. We had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves without leaving the cabin. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to cook and the bbq came in handy. Being able to purchase firewood was also great. We want to come back :)

We loved this place. It was private, secluded and exactly as described.

Excellent hosts - Warm and friendly and accommodating. It was our second stay and we had a wonderful time on their property. We enjoyed the new hydrotherapy they have added, had a great canoe around the lake and lots of laughs with our kids around the fire and playing games. Thanks for a wonderful unplugged get-away!

This is a great place to kick back, relax and enjoy the river. The variety of birds, the farm animals, the serenity of the spot gave us a lovely time away from home. The slippers and robes were a lovely touch!

Barnyard BnB is truly something special and easily the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The place is tastefully decorated and had anything you could ever need, including farm fresh eggs! I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Truly a special place. I will be recommending Barnyard BnB to all of my friends. Thank you so much, Kari!

Sehr schöne, ruhige Unterkunft. Privatsphäre ist absolut gegeben. Wer gerne wandern geht und die kurze Entfernung in die bekannten Spots schätzt, ist hier sehr willkommen. (Auch wenn man in Golden in den Restaurants wohl nicht so oft Touristen sieht, wir wurden aber herzlich aufgenommen). Gerne wieder!

I was very happy with my stay here, a great couple of relaxing days was just what I needed. Lawrence was a superb host, very helpful and I really appreciated everything she done for me, the morning eggs from the chickens were great. thanks again x

If you are looking for a quiet private place this is the place you were looking for. The property is pristine and well-maintained.

We enjoyed our stay in the beaver cabin greatly! The room was cozy and clean and very cute and the hot tub, outdoor fire pit and sauna were an added bonus! Very close to lots of hiking trails in the surrounding area aswell!

We loved our quick stay here and wish could have stayed longer. The cabin was beautiful and so cosy. Exactly as described. Highly recommend!

Gina was a hostess with the mostess 😃 She was very helpful & even leant us a backpack for our hike. The cabin and washrooms were spotless. A great place to escape the city!

We had a great stay at Karen’s cabin! The space was very clean and the sauna was amazing! They even supplied an extra blanket and towel for our dog. Would 100% recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and is looking for a peaceful retreat!

We really enjoyed our night. It was super peaceful and nice around, especially with the drum circle in the yurt. We woke up to the hymn of flutes in the yurt. Johanna was super responsive and did her best to include us in the activities but unfortunately we were sick.

What a gem to find! Our arrival was welcomed by a lovely herd of sheep all happy to say hello, followed up with the cutest space that was far more spacious in person. Throughout the day we got to enjoy the peace maintaining the fire brought + at night we were visited by two of the sweeeetest pups. It was a treat we will definitely enjoy again. Thank you!

We loved our time at the tiny home! The property that it sits on is incredibly beautiful, and we enjoyed our daily visits to the lake nearby. Emilie and Ian were friendy and helpful, and we'll definitely be back. We've already referred a few friends to the same location just based on the pictures we took!. Thank you for your hospitality 😊

This was an amazing experience! We loved how private, quiet and peaceful this place was. Walking to the river right from the property was a highlight for us. We could enjoy hiking on nicer days and soak in the hot tub on the cooler days, while being surrounded by mountains consistently. We really appreciated all the conveniences of the house. It was like home away from home! Everything we needed, and more was there. Thx again for an amazing time of connecting with nature and each other
