We had the best stay at Jockey Ridge. Two adults, a 10yo and a dog. The space was beyond perfect, inside and out! The location was EXACTLY what we hoped for and more. The host was as fantastic as the property. Her attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. We forgot a couple things, and to our surprise, it was included. Sound machine, etc. even poop bags for the dog! And a chew bone waiting for him outside. She made our vacation seamless. Not to mention being able to walk out the door and hike the beautiful sand dunes. Our 10yo loved sand boarding on a boogie board that she provided. We tried all the restaurants she suggested, and more. They were all a hit. What a special place! We booked it from what we saw online, out of hundreds of other locations, and something drew us to this place. And in person, it was better than we could have ever imagined. We hope to do it again next year, and maybe a couple times in between, too! Thank you Jockey Ridge. You made memories forever!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy Airbnb overlooking the Currituck Sound! The location near the heart of Duck is hard to beat, with easy access to fantastic shops, restaurants, and local coffee shops. The views over the sound are stunning, and the peaceful setting made it a truly relaxing getaway for this time of year. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring we were set for a smooth check-in. 10/10 would recommend!

What a neat little spot! The space was perfect for our family of three. Close to beaches, restaurants, shops, and the ferry. Gracie, her place, and her art gallery next door encapsulate what makes the Outer Banks so welcoming and charming very well. Will 100% be back in the future.

I had an amazing few days at Jayme's place. Everything was exactly as described. I look forward to returning. This may sound like a cliche, but it truly is a hidden gem. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. Perfect for a small family or getaway with a few friends. I was able to visit with my family, while having my own quiet space where I could work in the day and see my kids/grandkids in the afternoons and evenings. Just steps away, you can rent a bike and go anywhere. The area is also very walkable. A wonderful restaurant is also just steps away from the property. Everything is very close, including groceries, restaurants, and things to do. And, of course, there is a very easy short stroll to the beach so no worries about looking for parking :) Jayme is super friendly and helpful. It was a treat to meet her. I don't think I have ever met a host in person. I have been fortunate to have wonderful AirBnB experiences, but this has been one of my best.

Beautiful & peaceful home!! Walkable to many places and the beach. Tiffany was incredibly helpful & went out of her way to make sure we had a long list of suggestions for things to do, restaurants, etc. Spending time in the backyard was lovely. We will absolutely be back!!

We really enjoyed our long Easter weekend at Nataly’s 1st floor apartment in Virginia Beach! Great location:quiet,private,pretty backyard with nice deck,outside shower, and view of the water & lots of animal entertainment: Herons,Egrets,Mallards,fish,squirrels and 1 possum at night! 😆 The apartment is perfect for 2 people: Very Clean,comfy, & the Queen size Bed was very comfortable and the linens smelled so good! Loved the bathroom too! There’s so much to do, so many great places to eat at & funky bars & beer places to experience! Do yourself a favor and take a walk or rent bikes: You’re close enough to the beach-go enjoy it! We recommend “Rudee’s Tours”-The Dolphin Boat Cruise was AWESOME! We’ll be back! Landing here made the drive through Nags Head and Kitty Hawk so worthwhile! Waking up from a very comfortable sleep to this amazing view every morning is indescribable:). The loft had everything we needed for our 3 nights there and the location was perfect. Several places are seasonal, so do your homework, but we had no problem finding a good meal:). Plan ahead also if you want to see the horses.

This place was perfect for my families little get away. private away from neighbors. had great property grounds for the kids and dog to play. the surrounding nature was awesome to wake up to. Lorraine was really proactive at getting me ready for the stay and replied to any questions quickly. we arrived earlier than the check in time and had no issues. long story short it's a great place with an awesome host. highly recommend! she even opened the pool to us ahead of time!

Frank and Martha’s place is super cute. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house has lots of open space and is a short drive to all the essentials. Frank’s and Martha were very communicative and accommodating leading up to my stay. Highly recommend!

The perfect OBX cottage with the most stunning sunsets! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to spend time as a family! Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Our host was quick to answer any questions. This will definitely be my go to OBX rental!

The Bruce’s Retreat was the perfect location and the absolute best sunsets in the OBX! There were kayaks available, a cooler and beach chairs that made us feel right at home. The home was comfortable and close to all the restaurants and shopping. You can fish right off of their dock, but if you want to get into the bigger fish, it’s just a short drive away. It worked out perfect for me, as the fish I caught at the home dock, I used to catch my biggest Red Drum (34”) on the surf! Karin was a great host, and was a quick responder when we reached out. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when we visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Diana’s Airbnb off Shore Drive on Denwiddie From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much thought and care went into this place. The attention to detail was incredible—from the beautifully curated décor to the small but thoughtful touches like Band-Aids, cooking essentials, and other convenient extras that made a big difference. The location was perfect, and the space truly felt like home. Thank you, Diana, for creating such a welcoming and comfortable space!

Like the description, it is a peaceful paradise! Outside has beautiful sunrise, and amazing open water views. We took great photos just form the front yard. Inside has artistic decorations. It is truly a unique property. The three-night stay is just too short for us to enjoy all the amenities and to have enough time to talk with Alan and Nora. Will come back again!

LOVED our stay here, we were in town visiting a family member that is stationed in the area. Place was easy to find and had so much to do in the area. The home was so adorable I loved the Blue touches all over with the beachy theme. Everything was a described. We had one small concert and Samantha jumped into action to make sure it was taken care of and was great with following up to make sure we were happy with the resolution. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

I have nothing but positives to say about this place, the location, and Merlyn, it was all just perfect! From the clear, friendly and helpful instructions prior to arrival, the sign greeting us in the parking lot saying "Welcome Teigre family", to discovering that there was coffee in the kitchen for us in the morning (we weren't sure about this, but that's really great when you get in really late the night before), to our boys playing ball on the beach (beach toys available in the gym), my wife and I enjoying our coffee on the beach in the morning, to our friendly chat as we bumped into Rick & Merlyn, the hosts, all through to our check-out. Driving downtown was a 20 minute easy drive, we spent quite a bit of our time there, so it was nice to stay at a place on the beach. If we ever come back to Norfolk, VA, we would love to stay here again and we can highly recommend it and its wonderful hosts for anyone who comes to the area!

We had a great weekend at Crystal’s place. The condo was clean, the furniture comfortable and it had everything we needed for a weekend stay-our family especially enjoyed the selection of games. The location was perfect and the beach just beautiful!

This was better than expected. The condo was well appointed in all aspects, especially for a small space, it didn't feel small. location was perfect and views from this corner unit were amazing. I would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed staying at Kelly's place in VB. Its an ideal location for anyone who wants to stay right at the boardwalk. We witnessed amazing sunrises and moonrises. The ocean was right in front of us and from the 6th floor, the view was expansive. A lot of restaurants were also nearby. Kelly was always very communicative, polite and professional. The apartment was clean with the kitchen well stocked with utensils The bedrooms were of a pretty large size. And parking was on the premises. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and holiday for us. We strongly recommend Kelly's place.

The unit was as pictured and described. Very clean. Beautiful location and view. It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). Very convenient location to beach, walking / running path and bike riding. Host was easy to contact, friendly and responsive.

I really appreciated the communication I had with Dave as we definitely walked to the local grill next-door and had an amazing dinner! I thought it was a great location, could see the ocean and sunrises and public access to the beach was just a short walk! It was great. Thanks Dave!
