Located 18 miles outside of Homer. Hand built here on the ranch in the style of my family's hunting cabins; with a few finishing touches. Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our small ranch and peony farm. This new 18x20 Alaska cabin is near McCarthy airport. Complete kitchen and tiled walk-in shower. The best view by far of Mt. Blackburn, Ice Fall, and the Kennicott Mine right from the deck. You won't want to get off the deck. We offer vehicle transportation during your visit for a small fee (gas). Usually $10 for two days. We offer breakfast and light lunches. Bottled water too.
