Adare: soggiorni in cottage

Beautiful setting and wonderful accommodation for relaxing getaway . House was stocked with food and drink to start our stay. Bedrooms felt like 5 star hotel. We enjoyed the tennis courts, hot tub and nature trail walk.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend reunion with friends from around the world. It was the perfect location for lots of chats and had great facilities to cook for all 6 of us. The hot tub was lovely as we listened to the rain hit the tin roof.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Owenie's cottage! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials (and then some). The bed was super comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the chocolates and breakfast items left for us. The location was ideal—quiet, safe. Communication with the host was seamless. They were incredibly responsive, helpful. The Jacuzzi was also an excellent addition to the stay. Whether you're visiting for work or leisure, I’d highly recommend this property. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Marie was very friendly and accommodating, a pleasure to deal with. The house and amenities were great, would definitely recommend , a very open place with everything taken care of. A beautiful place with a great host.

We had such a great time at Rosalind’s place! The house and the setting are just amazing. We stayed with our 4 children - there was plenty to keep them entertained and the surrounding area is lovely. Rosalind is a brilliant host - lots of really helpful information and communication was great. Highly recommended!!

We had a lovely stay, it was nice to experience somewhere traditionally Irish. Clean, tidy, comfortable beds, the hot tub was great, very clean. We will definitely recommend and hope to return one day! Thanks very much!

Patsy’s cottage was exactly what I was looking for at the end of a long Irish Holiday. It was a quiet and idyllic retreat but still very close to town for convenience. My daughter loved collecting fresh eggs every morning for breakfast and feeding the chickens. We enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge on the grounds. The amenities are especially nice on a blustery, wet day! They are fired by wood stoves which requires a bit of pre-planning and forethought but Gerry, the owner, is very willing to help by starting the fires in advance of their use. The cottage itself has been restored beautifully and thoughtfully to save space yet not skimp on any of the necessities. The drying rack that lowered over the stove by a pulley was brilliant! We loved keeping the cottage toasty with a fire crackling in the wood stove all weekend! Thank you to Gerry for a wonderful stay. It was the perfectly peaceful setting we needed to experience the beauty of the Connemara landscape!

Alles war wie erwartet. Leider konnten wir die Natur nur bedingt genießen, weil es dauerregnete. Trotzdem war es recht gemütlich und warm im Haus, welches wirklich dort liegt, wo sich Fuchs und Hase Gute Nacht sagen.

Excellent place. Our host Keith is very pleasent and friendly and we recieved a genunie welcome. Brook cottage is nestled in beautiful surroundings on the Dingle way. The views all around were magnificent and a short distance to numerous beach fronts along the Castlegregory coastline. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Folan’s Cottage ist wirklich ein Juwel. Die atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer den ganzen Tag ist einfach nur gigantisch. Unsere Kinder haben, trotz der kühlen Temperaturen, die Füße ins Wasser gehalten – mit leuchtenden Augen und viel Gekreische. Besonders süß fanden wir die kleinen Strandläufer-Vögel, die geschäftig am Ufer entlanghuschten. Das Haus verbindet traditionellen Charme mit modernem Komfort. Die großzügige Küche mit der Kochinsel wurde schnell zum Dreh- und Angelpunkt, wo wir gemeinsam gekocht und gelacht haben. Abends haben wir uns gemütlich am Kamin zusammengesetzt und Karten gespielt. Die Abgeschiedenheit des Ortes war genau das, was wir gesucht haben, um mal richtig abzuschalten. Ein echtes Highlight war die Begegnung mit den Connemara-Ponys, die entspannt vor dem Haus grasten – dieser Anblick bleibt uns sicher lange in Erinnerung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hoffen, bald wiederzukommen. Ein großes Dankeschön an die Gastgeber für diese unvergessliche Zeit!

Superbe séjour dans cette maison pleine de charme, qui mêle l’authenticité de l’ancien au confort moderne. Chaque détail est soigné pour offrir un moment agréable : une literie très confortable, un équipement complet et fonctionnel, et une ambiance chaleureuse. L’emplacement est parfait pour explorer la région, en particulier le Ring of Kerry et le Ring of Beara. Mention spéciale à Des pour son accueil, sa réactivité et les délicates attentions laissées à notre arrivée. On s’est senti si bien dans cette maison qu’il a été difficile de la quitter. Nous espérons vraiment y revenir un jour... Encore merci Des !

Pat has given us the warmest welcome we have ever got at an airbnb. He is just a terrific host. The cottage is lovely, spacious and well-equipped. Great to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. We loved the fire in the dining room and living room and enjoyed playing boardgames with the fire on, on a rainy day. Pat's dog, Lily and the neighbour dog, Hunter are both a delight. Connemara is a beautiful part of Ireland with beautiful scenery and wonderfully warm people. A week is not enough to see everything. We managed to get to the national park, Clifden, Roundstone and its beaches, Lennaun, the Killary fjord and the famine walk, as well as nearby Loch Corrib and the castle. Some of these destinations are about 1 hour away but you drive through beautiful scenery. Galway is only half an hour away and is a buzzing, vibrant city. All in all, we had a great time and would like to come back.

Hemos estado muy a gusto durante una semana en este alojamiento. Es ideal para grupos grandes. Tenía todo lo que necesitábamos, camas cómodas, buenas duchas, acceso a lavadora y secadora sin problemas. Anfitriones amables. Sitio precioso en el campo. Volvimos muy contentos con el lugar elegido.

Soggiorno spledino , cottage impeccabile con tutto ciò che serve per passare una vacanza stupenda ! Posizione speciale per visitare i Burren . Tutto stupendo Consiglio !

As a family we stay in two or three rentals a year and this is by far one of the nicest, most thought out and well equipped places we’ve stayed in. The house was clean and spacious and easily accommodated our family of five. The cottage is well located for visiting Galway and beyond (Burren National Park, Aran Islands etc.). The generous welcome basket was hugely appreciated at the end of a long day of travelling. We had a wonderful stay in Julia's cottage and would highly recommend.

Beautiful home with everything we needed for our stay! It was peaceful, easy to find, and just a short drive into Killarney center. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it!

Really cozy cottage and we really enjoyed the piece and quiet, the scones were lovely. Dunclan was also prompt to suggest us some really nice things to visit in the area and luna (cat) kept us company during our garden breakfast :D Highly suggest, would come back again

The cottage was absolutely spectacular, and exactly as described - located just inside Killarney National Park, the grounds are beautiful and it's an easy walk (or short drive) to local restaurants, shops, the INEC, and Killarney town center. The cottage itself was gorgeous and very well appointed, and we very much appreciated the small touches - some coffee, tea, and biscuits for us to enjoy! We met Eileen just after check-in, where she gave us a quick but thorough tour of the cottage and shared some great conversation about the area and the event we were in town for. Thank you so much, Eileen & John, for an excellent week and we'd love to be back!

Ein tolles Haus, in dem wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben! Abseits gelegen und sehr ruhig. Der Kamin war schon vorbereitet, sooo gemütlich! Palmen im Vorgarten, schöne Aussicht auf die Berge, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Bellissima esperienza nel cottage di Gary in una stupenda zona circondati dal verde ma comunque comodi alla strada principale , vicini alla stupenda cittadina di Adare. Abbiamo vissuto il cottage cenando in casa al fuoco del camino. Fantastica sistemazione per chi cerca la tranquillità e la vita nel verde d'Irlanda. Gary è stato assolutamente disponibile, sempre presente e prodigo di consigli. Speriamo in futuro di ritornare!

The house was super. The beds comfy, bathrooms spotless. The fire was ready to light, a lovely loaf of bread left and an apple tart. The kitchen was lovely, with lots to of utensils to cook with. And a lovely coffee machine. A great place to stay over night (next time we will stay longer). Thank you.
