The Cat House

You will feel like you have traveled back in time when you rent this 1950s fishing cabin at Lake of The Ozarks. The cabin, we call "The Cat House", is located on the quieter side of the lake, so you can avoid a lot of the massive boat waves and hustle & bustle seen in other areas. It is located on the 47 mm of the Osage. It has a private dock with two slips and 2 PWC lifts. It is perfect for a small family or small group of friends that want to relax and enjoy the view, fish or swim.

This cozy one-bedroom charmer, part of a lake front 4-plex built in 1959 will not disappoint and offers a comfortable lake stay. You will have incredible views and steps away from the Picnic area and dock. This is a lower unit-steps and/or our boat ramp are available to get to the unit. It offers a rear parking spot if you are comfortable driving on the boat ramp. We are close to Ha Ha Tonka State Park, Kinderhook and Lake Valley Golf courses, Ball Park Nationals, and the Amphitheater.

Great set up for swimming, fishing, or hanging out watching games on the dock. 2.5 hours from KC, wifi all around the property.

Spend days on the water and evenings making memories in this comfortable lake home which include a private dock w/electricity, and a screened in porch with a great view of the lake. Our family cottage sits on 100’ of lakefront in a natural lake setting. Spacious living with expansive views and a private dock. Bring your own boat to tie up to the dock during your stay. Close to movie theater, grocery stores, and restaurants by land or water.
