This was our 2nd stay on the island , but first time at Mary Kim's. Great hospitality including home cooked egg rolls that made the long journey even more worth it. The only downfall would be the dock and kayak spot is a couple doors down, but Mary Kim was very communicative. lastly, I highly recommend the golf cart service on the island, gives you more of an ability to explore the island.

My husband and I enjoyed our second relaxing weekend away at the cottage on the creek. We were really able to relax regardless of the weather. Rain or shine, the location is stunningly beautiful and peaceful. I found the cottage to be at a higher standard of cleanliness than our last visit, too. Much appreciated! We plan to return!

This property is magical. Everything I have imagined and more since I discovered it more than 10 years ago. So thankful I finally got to experience it.

We can’t say enough about the warm and hospitality of our hosts! Not a single detail was overlooked. The area was private, but what was overwhelming to us was the abundance of natural beauty everywhere! We had a lake on one side of the driveway and the creek on the other! The cottage was indeed very romantic, and we cannot wait to come back. We love that they had kayaks and we had a great time paddling the creek. There were some great restaurants in nearby towns, but if you didn’t want to go that far, a grocery store and Walmart were a few miles away.

We LOVED this place! It was such a peaceful trip away from the city. The island is so peaceful and everyone was so nice. Loved biking and kayaking the island and eating delicious food.

Sycamore Bend is an incredibly special place; it's a lovely and unique historic home sitting right on a salt water tributary. It's quiet, private and serene - you feel as if you stepped back in time. The house is charming and comfortable with spacious bedrooms and spaces to gather.

We had a great time in Chhaya's cottage. Very clean and well equipped. Conveniently located within walking distance of amenities. Perfect to go an explore Chincoteague Island and the Assateague shore.

My family and I (11 of us) had a wonderful stay at Greg’s home. Kids and grandkids were coming in to town from 2 different states for Thanksgiving, and we needed a place where we could be together comfortably and in one place, and Greg’s home was perfect for us! There was so much room for us to stretch out and just relax, enjoying each other and the holiday. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperative, so we did not get to enjoy the outdoor areas, but the water views were amazing! Greg was a great host, offering info and answering questions, and always responded quickly. He let me know that he was available at any time, and allowed us an early check-in and late check-out, which was appreciated! We would definitely stay there again should the need arise.
