This was Narda's first time booking with Airbnb.
She booked her stay prior to letting me know that her flight arrived at 11:30pm and that she would only arrive at the apartment well after midnight. When she revised her stay to 6 days instead of 7, she insisted that she still get a discounted daily rate, even though she was not staying for a full week. Instead of resolving this amicably (she never attempted to call me directly), she resolved the issue by complaining directly to Airbnb, and refused to compromise.
Keycafe is an easy and effective way to pick up keys. Waves café is located only a few blocks away.
Our bedroom has a firm double bed.
It had been an exceptionally hot Vancouver summer. I'm glad our fans kept Narda cool.
Our kitchen has several pots and pans perfectly suitable for cooking. It has a microwave, stove, and toaster oven. There is an array of spices and utensils open to guest use.
Narda, I apologize for having an open coke can left in the fridge. Our apartment is professionally cleaned prior to every guest's arrival. I also apologize for changing the plan of leaving the key under the door to requesting it being dropped off back at Waves café.
Again, this was Narda's first time. And yes, there is a difference between a hotel and somebody's home. That being said, I have been an Airbnb host for several years and have nothing but positive reviews from other guests.
